If one could go to the very edge of the universe, and then just beyond, what would that place be called?

The same thing that surrounded the Singularity before the beginning of time.

I believe I definitely had a pretty decent grasp of such at a particular concert one time....but I cant re create it in my mind now. I only recall that it was very digital in nature. And to be honest, Mr. Snuffleupagus was out there and spoke quite the bizarre language that was mostly communicated via silent intuition. The entire concept of the universe and its size and the unknown of it is beyond fascinating.

The best description I ever heard is thing of the universe like a ballon. The galaxies are skittles across the ballon. As you blow the ballon up, they get further apart

Interesting take. The size, if you can even use the word "size" in the convo, is astounding. Millions of "suns" and their solar systems of various degrees just in our Milky Way Galaxy, and millions of galaxies such as ours in the universe. To me, just starting with the distances of the International Space Station and moon is profound. Hell I thought (and think) it's amazing the accomplishment to send humans to the ISS....and it's only 260ish miles above/away from earth. The moon is over 220,000 miles away from earth. Bit of a difference!
