This better not mess up the new Love’s on 1088. I ain’t even got to try the new Hardee’s there yet!!
If he has a Georgia title, you don’t even need to get it notarized. You just need bill of sale, title, and a photo of front (AND BACK!) of his driver’s license. And you need to put insurance on it and bring proof of that as well. Out of state titles don’t have to be notarized unless the other state requires a notary (which Georgia doesn’t).

Don’t forget the photo of front and back of his driver’s license. Some of the people at the title places are picky about details like that. It depends on who you get. Also you may need to make sure the address on his license matches up with the address on the title. But again it depends on who you get at the title place whether they’ll actually care.

But most importantly, you definitely do NOT want to put a lower price on the bill of sale than you actually paid for the vehicle. You most certainly don’t want to save yourself some money on tax. For example, if you pay 10k, definitely do NOT put $3k on the bill of sale. You would not want to save yourself money on taxes, would you? That would just be wrong! :wink wink:

I went to a few of my nephew’s Upward flag football games at First Baptist Covington. I was surprised at how seriously some of the coaches took it. This was a church league of K-2nd children. Coaches screaming at refs and screaming at kids.

I saw kindergarteners get yelled at, “What are you doing?? He was right there!! How did you miss his flag??”

“How did you drop that pass??”

“Ref, what are you looking at, he was flag guarding!! He was flag guarding!!”

I saw one coach actually grab his 1st grade son by the face and get in his face because he dropped a pass or something. Again, this was at a church league.

Great recruiting tool for FBC Covington! That’ll definitely get new people to visit on Sunday mornings.

Parts are abundant for most GM vehicles of almost any era. I worked on a 74 C10 for a while.

Whether it’s worth the trouble depends on what your plan is. If it’s to flip something, it could be worth it but that depends a lot on how much you plan to do yourself and how much you value your time. If it’s just to have something you enjoy working on and enjoy driving, then yeah it’s definitely worth it.

Square bodies are great vehicles and Chevy engines are so easy to work on. As I mentioned, parts are everywhere and there are so many resources out there (YouTube, forums, etc) if you need help.

Rust can play a huge role in the decision making process though, even in the South. Body rust isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker, just keep in mind what is required to fix it and whether you will do that work yourself. If the frame is rusted, I personally would walk away.

So what are you thinking about working on?
No 4.0 liter, no care.

Same here. I read about it a lot and it’s like watching a movie over and over again that you already know the ending but you’re just hoping maybe this time it could be different.

But it’s only halftime. We’ll get ‘em in the second half!

Now we can get true compact pickups back. Chevy S10, Jeep Comanche, actual Ranger, Nissan hardbody, etc. Give me any of those with a straight 6 and a 5 speed. Also with hand crank windows, and buttons and knobs on the dash, not a massive iPad screen.
So did the Big Beautiful Bill address CAFE standards at all? Or is there other forthcoming legislation that does so?
