I like to sleep naked but only when I feel I’m in very clean locations where a palmetto bug isn’t about to suddenly fly at me

Lol, this was a family trip and this was someone’s grandmother hah. Who is actually very well traveled for Europe… but just assumes everywhere is like Europe where you can just hop on a train and be anywhere in a couple of hours… not a fricking jungle.
I had a family member “kidnapped” in Argentina because she didn’t know taxi protocols and got in the wrong one and was told she had to pay up or be left in the bad part of town. It’s small things that keep you safe

I recently traveled to Central America for a trip organized by someone else. A couple of weeks before hand, i started getting nervous I didn’t really know where I was going so I did a lot of googling to catch myself up to speed.
Queue us in flight line, I was talking with someone else going on the trip. And they legit knew nothing about where we were going. They didn’t know what town we were flying into (despite having bought plane tickets there) didn’t know what region we’d be in, didn’t even know what ocean we’d be on. The only thing they knew was the hotel would have transport waiting for us at the airport.
She was not the only one. Other people on the trip were pretty bad too. And I was talking with a coworker today and they’re doing the same thing. I asked them where they’re traveling and they’re just like “no idea, it’s a surprise trip.”
Dam, I feel much better about myself

TMI, but my arse is broken and I can’t stand having anything put in my arse. The doctors (females) multiple times tried to put things in my arse and I basically started panicking cause it hurt so bad. The nurse did stick a finger up my arse and I squeeled like a stuck pig

I really wondered if they were. Couldn’t tell if frat or twinks.
First time going to a spa
Posted by athenslife101 on 5/26/26 at 6:34 pm
And my first thought is why haven’t I been doing this sooner.
Some odd things though. Do you go bare assed for the massage or wear underwear? I wore boxer briefs and she definitely lowered them significantly which makes me think I should have been bare assed. I’ve read they’ll tell you what the want but she didn’t.
But then a lot of the pools, both mixed and men’s only require swimwear. So am I supposed to just be putting bathing suit on and off depending on what stage I’m at?
No way in hell I’m getting a message in a bathing suit
Also, way more frat guys at the spa than I’d think. Seemed kinda weird. There was a group of 20 of them that moved around in a pack.

Fun fact, her original sex scene is the movie was way more graphic and almost pornagraphic and was almost entirely cut out. I seem to remember there was a fair amount of controversy why the director was asking for some things to be filmed that were never going to be in the movie and this caused issues

I saw it in IMAX and I enjoyed seeing it in IMAX.
If you’re expecting a lot in the story or character area, then absolutely not. That’s as derivative as you can get. It does feel extremely episodic though this is probably more violent than I’d think
It depends on what you want to get out of it. I saw a lot of fun ideas on display from a production design standpoint and that overcame a lot of the areas where the movie was lacking.
I loved seeing battle hardened droids. I loved seeing hutts in their natural state (although hutts are the one area I think definitively don’t look good, also isn’t their planet supposed to be an overpolluted shithole?), I liked for the first time in a long time feeling like the world feels lived in. When I think of the original Star Wars trilogy, I think of thousands of extras carrying boxes around lol. I liked the puppetry and weird aliens in the background. I loved the bird bar
I also liked they leaned into the sillyness.
I don’t know. This is an odd movie. It’s 100% strangely lacking in a lot of areas but I kept on being fascinated with it and for some reason I enjoyed it.
I will also say, two things I also find interesting. 1. I usually have some triggers of things I hate seeing in movies and this movie did them, it temporarily disarmed them somehow. Maybe because I kept thinking it’s a cartoon. 2. I consider the last Jedi to be the worse movie of all time and the rise of skywalker to be right up there. So seeing a Star Wars adventure movie set after the return of the Jedi and actually try to do its own thing also was something I liked

I’ve heard that and that’s all I could think about at times. Like Zeb is fully just repeating information we’ve already been told for most of his time in the movie. Like “hey, don’t forget that thing we said 45 seconds ago screen time.”
It’s really bad and seems like even if it was intentional as we suspect really badly pulled off.

Thoughts on Mandalorian and Grogu

I got to say, I think I thoroughly enjoyed it for what it is…. An overly cutsey adventure story.
Now, this movie does have problems. It has some of the strangest choices I’ve ever seen in a movie. But from a visual and production standpoint…. I loved the art design of the movie. That’s really what kept me involved.
I will say, I feel like AI wrote this script though. The amount of repeated mind I’m in repetition is truly insane, especially in the first half of the movie. You’ll hear the same bit of information 3 fricking times. Come on. Some really bad dialogue. And the script repeats itself. How many times in a fricking movie do we need another Grogu is eating things joke.
The story definitely isn’t something to write home about and pacing is very weird
The action works if you approach this like a John Wick movie which I did. There’s still eye rolling stuff. But I honestly thought a lot of the action was extremely pleasing to watch. Also there’s way way way way more stabbing in this movie than I thought.
And back to the special effects… minus the hutts, I think there is some really cool stuff in here. That’s shot of the bounty hunter in the rain when the light turns on from above. That’s so well designed. This is the closest movie I’ve gotten in a longtime that comes with my personal obsession is shooting scenes to feel like an art. There’s several of those moments.
Also… did we get stop motion? There’s one scene that very very much felt like stop motion at the end and I thought that would be so cool if it was

I am absolutely not playing this game till it fully comes out but I can answer questions from a lore perspective.

I’ve had ticks before. Last time was two years ago I had two, one on my hip and one on my leg. It was probably 20 years before that last time I had that which is odd because i definitely spent time in the woods.
I spent a few days in the woods that were so tick infested they control burnt that forest and in survived without getting any

I mean probably. But don’t get me wrong. I’ve played this game a ton in the last 24 bouts. Like a ton. So I definitely haven’t seen everything I’ve seen a lot. And it feels like two things: 1. a lot of the early stages races are at night which isn’t helping 2. There feels like there’s a blue filter over everything

I started playing this around midnight and have put in…. A lot of hours into this.
It’s fun. If you liked previous games, you’ll love this.
I can’t help but feel like the location is a downgrade over Mexico though. Every review I read emphasized the Japanness of the setting and I just don’t feel it. I’m driving through forests and fields I drive through already on a daily basis. I’m sure there are plenty of other locals (I’ve only discovered 120 roads so far) but in comparison to Mexico where you got jungle and desert and mountains and colorful farms and tropical beaches and seaside resorts all very blue and green. This feels very grey in comparison
