re: The Colt Python is officially coming back in 2020 - weagle99
It looks to be a modified / redesigned whatever you want to call it version of the old action. The picture I saw with the clear sideplate shows a type of rebound lever and other similarities to the old gun. We should know more once people start disassembling them....
S&W has been remaking some of their classics
Some of Smith’s classics are but a shadow of the old guns in almost every conceivable measure. I think this gun will be a hit for Colt....

re: The Colt Python is officially coming back in 2020 - weagle99
So, not the Python, really.
It is modified version of the original V-spring action found in the old Python, not the MK style action used in the new Cobra and King Cobra. The number of people willing to pay for a Python built like the originals is very small. A gun like that wou...

re: The return of the Colt Python? - weagle99
Also the Cobra barrel is a 2 piece as well.
This is not correct. AFAIK no Colt revolver uses a 2 piece barrel. As far as MIM, we don’t know what is inside the new Python. A picture I saw of the action looked like machined steel. Short of going out of business, Colt simply c...
accident
This is an assumption. Until the investigation and court case play out, how does anyone know for sure it was an accident? For all we know this person could have decided to intenionally ram into another car that night for whatever reason. Point being the process needs ...

re: Each state should have same number of EC votes. - weagle99
It would take Florida, NY and California totally out of play for democrats.
The more populous states must have meaning too. The beauty of our system is that it balances all the states almost perfectly. Changing the system is a cheap way to avoid doing the hard work of changing ...

Fangio gets in his Maserati wearing pleated khaki pants and then proceeds to drive on a track bordered by brush on tires that look to be 5 inches wide. [link=(https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5Xg4Fr9SY04)]LINK[/link]...

re: Was the USA more interesting or better before it started becoming homogenized? - weagle99
I remember watching a video with a woman author from Mississippi from early in the 20th century. Don’t remember her name but the creator was effectively saying that an accent like hers was now gone....

Was the USA more interesting or better before it started becoming homogenized? - weagle99
It seems like our regional differences are slowly going away compared to what they once were. Some accents are fading (including Southern), a McDonald’s in Georgia is a McDonald’s in Kansas, most everyone ordering from Amazon, etc. What must it have been like to travel around the country decades...

Another plus for the Tundra: They only make up about 5% of the fullsize truck market in 2018 so if you want to drive something different than most everybody else there ya go....
