The worst: on my motorcycle (Indian Scout) coming up to pass on the left. She hears the bike and some ativistic part of her brain perceives a threat, and she speeds up. Does not even realize she's doing it. I have to back off and get a run at her to get around.

I absolutely use cruise control. My husband doesn’t. His stupid truck doesn’t have smart cruise and he doesn’t get why I hate driving it.

I can't remember the last time I used cruise control. I just have a steady foot.

Cruise control is probably a bad idea for people who stare at their phone while going 80 down the highway, which includes pretty much any non Uber female I've ever ridden with.

It's not just women, I see lots of baws doing the same thing.
In most instances I've been able to notice, the driver is usually in a conversation (whether phone or with a passenger). My guess is they feel a lack of necessary control by using cruise control when talking because the conversation is taking up so much of their attention.
This split-focus aspect is why I don't care to carry on phone conversations while I'm driving (even though I find it easier to do with cruise control on).
