The worst: on my motorcycle (Indian Scout) coming up to pass on the left. She hears the bike and some ativistic part of her brain perceives a threat, and she speeds up. Does not even realize she's doing it. I have to back off and get a run at her to get around.

I absolutely use cruise control. My husband doesn’t. His stupid truck doesn’t have smart cruise and he doesn’t get why I hate driving it.

Cruise control is probably a bad idea for people who stare at their phone while going 80 down the highway, which includes pretty much any non Uber female I've ever ridden with.

It's not just women, I see lots of baws doing the same thing.
In most instances I've been able to notice, the driver is usually in a conversation (whether phone or with a passenger). My guess is they feel a lack of necessary control by using cruise control when talking because the conversation is taking up so much of their attention.
This split-focus aspect is why I don't care to carry on phone conversations while I'm driving (even though I find it easier to do with cruise control on).

Truckers described perfectly. One jumped from the right lane to the left on me earlier this week on I-40 in East Tennessee, nearly causing a wreck. He then proceeded to take almost 5 miles to pass 2 truckers that had been in front of him. He got the middle finger from me as I passed with a frick you thrown in.

I’ll never own another vehicle that doesn’t, at minimum, have adaptive cruise control. I actually just drove my wife’s vehicle on a road trip yesterday that doesn’t have it and was miserable the entire time

I even use it on the 30-35 mph roads around my neighborhood. I love cruise control.

I use it when I drive on the highway by myself
If my husband is with me, he’s driving. And the cruise control is set at 89.

I’ve noticed that’s the default driving position/method mainly for about 90% of Asian female drivers. Seem absolutely petrified.

Trust me, truck drivers deal with this bullshite multiple times a day - Tiffany in her bullshite suv passes my truck at 83 mph and as soon as she gets back over she whips out that cell phone and her speed drops all the way down to 64. As soon as the semi starts to pass, she speeds back up to 80 and the process begins again.
Absolutely pisses me off.
