Same thing we did with the Shah of Iran? How did that turn out? Don’t get me wrong. Glad Maduro is done but there needs to be some type of interaction to prevent the wrong people from filling the void. :dunno:

I saw an interview with Kirby Smart and he was asked about players entering the portal because he has “live hitting in practice”. He said “I like it and I like and want to play these teams they transfer to because the teams they transfer to don’t like to hit”. :rotflmao:

A player coming out of HS with generational PHYSICAL talent (which can get you by in HS) but going to the next level with, among other things, a shitty mental attitude often doesn’t translate at the next level. This is now being exacerbated by the NIL and transfer shite. Look at Arik Gilbert as an example. Obviously (physicality speaking) EVERYONE was touting him as a generational talent but his less than stable mental state did not transfer AT ALL at the next level.
