I like small watch parties where we’re actually watching the game.
re: End of summer recap How much did you spend on your vacation? Spoiler nothing is cheap

I spent like $15k on a European cruise. The airfare was 3k and the cruise itself was about $7k but we bought some pricey stuff.

Roaches. I’ll pick up a venomous snake but won’t even pick up a dead roach. Because they are just playing dead and will come back to life and get on you. And if a roach touches me somewhere, the only solution is amputation of that body part.
I’m convinced they lay eggs everywhere they touch.

Ah, I don’t count social security or veterans benefits as entitlements because they were earned.

Falling off the Mississippi River bridge. And rabies.
I have a lot of fears but they’re totally rational.

What do you consider an entitlement? And do you have a source to back up your 50-60% claim?

My old charter used to stick pretty strict to “you pay whether we go out or not” but my new guys stays in communication with me and we decide on the day together.

My boss was my same level colleague for about 8 years. I’ve been to his house and attended his kids’ birthdays before. Currently have plans for him and husband to make sausage and beer together.
re: Did you marry a prissy, ladylike woman?

:casty:
I don’t consider myself prissy but I definitely don’t change tires, mow the lawn, or take out the trash.

Have a coworker with a great job, recently divorced with 3 kids. In her 40’s.
She hasn’t even stuck her toe in the dating pool yet and she’s getting upwards of 50 messages a day on social media of dudes shooting their shot.
She’s actually talking to a dude in his 40’s who’s never been married, has a great job and no kids and is seriously fit.
Women have more options than you think.
