I enjoy that it's free to play too after you buy your discs

Same, as it was not available for me until I was in my 40s.

I try to find time for both, but I get to play disc way more often for obvious reasons. Playing this afternoon on one of my favorite courses anywhere, and I have now played 67 courses in 9 states.

Got into mountain biking after an ACL replacement at about 40. But I've always been a DIYer. For the past four years its been fixing up this small farm I live on now.

I'm another who has way too many hobbies but most of them were either from childhood or added in my late 20's. Hand loading is probably the only one I added in my 30s.

Started brewing beer in my early 30's. Quit for a while but picked it back up after moving to CO. Now I'm taking it to the next level: distilling.

Picked up an interest in shooting, particularly long-range, a few years ago. Haven't pursued it with a massive amount of vigor but definitely enjoy it.

Wood working and other similar crafts.

In my late 40s some friends from work and I started playing D&D. We’ve played consistently almost every week since.

In 2019 I started kayak fishing and going on overnight float and fish camping trips.

Last October I started playing pickleball and have been playing 4-6 times a week since.

I still ride road and mountain bikes as well. Been doing that since 1986.

I played disc golf in college and picked it back up during 2020. Started playing traditional golf more often last year. I love spring, fall, and parts of winter for mountain biking and hiking. I picked up taekwondo about a year ago and it’s been a nice addition to the mundane weekly routine.

35 for reference.

I did the same, but that was many years ago. I still brew and now that the weather is cooling off I'm ready to brew another batch of something.

I also started building furniture for my house and just finished some oak kitchen cabinets and the doors and windows for an attic expansion. I had 6 years of wood shop in Jr high and high school but didn't use those skills much until about 10-12 years ago.

Pickleball

I go to kid’s soccer and baseball games too. I’ve gotten bad about people watching at their games. So many parents are fricking insane.

Jiu Jitsu

This. Started right after I turned 30 and I am 51 now. I am about to get my black belt. I would have got it much sooner but I trained no-gi for my first 3 years so pretty well started as a no rank white belt when I actually put on a gi on. Also sat out almost a year with a brutal neck injury because of jits in 2008 and then damn near a year after Covid almost killed me in 2021. Been a damn fun journey and it is still in progress. Rolled with and met lots of interesting people along the way.

Got into disc golf last April/May. Love it.

Changed from hunting in box stands to climbing trees in the woods. More enjoyable and challenging.
