Writing. I published four novels after I turned 70.

Care to share some titles?

Innocence Lost - war romance set in small Louisiana town and theaters of war during WWII and Korean War

Death in the Empty Quarter - action/adventure set in Middle East

In Search of the Yellow Dog - mystery during oil wildcatting in South Louisiana

The Treasure of Money Hill - wildcatting in SE Louisiana and hunt for Confederate gold (prequel to Yellow Dog)

I did the same, but that was many years ago. I still brew and now that the weather is cooling off I'm ready to brew another batch of something.

For me too. It was the dark ages of brewing back then. You had plenty of yeast as long as you liked Red Star, you could get maybe 3 types of hops and if 6-row barley was your thing, you were golden. It's a different world now.

I had two major hobbies that I quit in my late 20’s and have now started back in my mid 30’s. Golf and deer hunting.

I’m honestly seeing more returns from hobby’s I’ve had for a while. Mid 30s comes with discipline, knowing your limitations and valuing your time.

Music and gold are my main hobbies. Although I’ve picked up home improvement and landscaping since Ida. Sometimes I draw and color with my kids and surprised at how much better I am than when I was younger.

YouTube is awesome

I collect retro game systems and repair them.

Used to do running clubs but after 20 years in the service. No bueno on my knees. Also i realize that i am 3 years older than Aaron Rodgers and his Achilles heel exploded. So nah. I keep'n her easy.

I thought about some of these responses as I was parcouring to my vuvuzela lessons. Also remembered to do my Thigh-Master exercises and then wind down with my fidget-spinner. Planning to play Dungeons & Dragons later this evening.

(Tip of the hat to all my sec rant buddies that listed disc golf or Pickleball in their responses)
