Please request a sticky and keep us updated as this continues to unfold. Much like LSU fans did with Trinidad's NCAA Eligibility Hearing. I appreciate you caring about it even though you really don't care.

Firing BK wasn't a scandal. LSU trying to get out of paying him all the money he was owed was the scandal. But whenever Jimmy Sexton says 'Jump', the Tiger Athletic Dept is always poised to ask 'How High, Sir ?'

I think Florida will be much improved. Not saying they're a 10 win team but I think they'll upset some teams.

The report from the Louisiana Legislative Auditor said LSU may have violated the Louisiana Constitution and state law by failing to properly oversee the nonprofit Stephenson Technologies Corporation, or STC. The LSU Board of Supervisors approved STC as an affiliate in 2015 to secure federal contracts for the university.

I was on a church trip to New York back in the 90s and on the elevator with my youth minister about to head to the top of the Empire State Building. It was just going to be the two of us and a tour guide when at the last second and entire family of 8 or 9 got on the elevator. I swear they had just gotten off the plane in NYC after picking up garbage in the streets of Mumbai in 110 degree heat. Vader's story took me straight back to that elevator ~30 years ago. Some smells you never forget.

Do you remember when LSU fans celebrated the firing of that bum Ed Orgeron and rejoiced in the arrival of Brian Kelly? And then just years later those same LSU fans celebrated the firing of that bum Brian Kelly and rejoiced in the arrival of Ed Orgeron?

They did win one. Don't you remember ? You were on the verge of tears and experienced a psychiatric breakdown in the game thread. And several more threads in the following days. And probably some last week too.

Absolutely. Wherever this team is sent I'm hoping for day games, hot weather and short porches in the outfield.

That's a knee jerk reaction. This team certainly doesn't look like an Omaha team or anything but we saw firsthand (again) last season what happens to teams that make a deep run in the SEC Tourney once Regional play starts. Last year's team doesn't host in Oxford without making it at least to the semis but the year we won the Natty we went home after one game in Hoover. Go home and rest all your arms. Hope it's somewhere remotely close to Oxford so fans will travel and not UCLA, Georgia Tech or Chapel Hill. Hoping for Lawrence or Lincoln but Hattiesburg wouldn't surprise me as many times as they've sent them up to Oxford in the past. My guess is Tallahassee. They've sent MSU there a bunch and both of us to Miami a couple times. They love sending SEC teams to Florida schools as 2 or 3.

They don't accept minorities into their school they just know what is best for them. Just ask any Berkeley grad and they'll tell you. Trust me.

I really did give Lane the benefit of the doubt for a long time. Hell I would've done the same thing he did if in his position other than maybe giving out ultimatums. But he really wants to make this thing as toxic as possible at this point. And the media will keep asking the questions they need to ask to get the answers they want to get in order to stir the pot.

Taking 2/3 in Tuscaloosa this weekend is a very tall ask
This photo was taken on the plains in 2023 right after Freeze cracked an extremely racist joke

We've never played at night that I can remember

I have a Treeing Feist. He is 16 months old and steadily becoming a fantastic squirrel dog. He sleeps in the bed with me and the wife (no pics) every night but once I take him out into the woods a switch flips and he’s no longer a house dog and immediately becomes a hunting dog. I plan to get another one that is black and white in a few years.

All series are Thurs/Fri/Saturday matchups this weekend to give the pitchers of the teams seeded 9-16 an extra day of rest before plays starts in Hoover on Tuesday

#4 Georgia at #4 Auburn
#10 Arkansas at Kentucky
South Carolina at Vanderbilt

First off, great thread CG99. This thing was destined to go several pages the moment you hit Submit.

Kiffin moved to Baton Rouge because it's 66% black.

I can think of over 12 million reasons why Kiff moved to Louisiana and race demographics isn't one of them. When he loses his 3rd or 4th game in Knoxville and a ton of players don't even get on the plane to fly to Fayetteville it's going to be hilarious. No roster opts out like an LSU roster. They were doing it before NIL existed and it was the cool thing to do.

re: Baseball Tourney Outlook

I've already decided they're going to match Ole Miss up with Auburn if we host in Oxford. Unless Texas wins the SEC Tourney and ends up a 3 seed or higher. Then they'll match the Oxford Regional up with the Austin Regional.
