re: Rifle "misfire" at a deer

We have pigs and feeding just attracts those bastards. Plus I don’t enjoy the box stand/feeder. I’ve enjoyed the move to climbers and lock ons in the woods. Scouting areas and setting up on the out skirts. I found an area untouched on our lease and in the last 2 plus years have shot 6 deer from o...

I saw 2 young bucks this morning. One was just cruising behind some woods. Looked like a young 6/8 point. 20 minutes later I used my grunt call. Immediately had a deer grunt back at me a few times then took off running. I never saw the deer until it ran off. May have been bedded down in the thicket....

Not at all. After tomorrow morning, the rifle gets picked up for a while. May take it back out during the rut. It’ll be all bow. ...

The Lift RS is sweet. Went to Chag’s and they had the 29.5X to shoot. Draw length was long for me so they had a noticeable dump when drawing back. Shot really smooth though....

Summit, MS Foggy Ladder stand at a transition area. 300 Blackout Have my 13 year old daughter. Her first time hunting. Had zero interest but I think a few of her junior high friends hunt. WBY I think most would say the saddle. I use lock ons. I’m sure I’ll eventually get into a saddle....
Yea that's what I would need. In my 06 Sierra it wasn't a problem riding up. With the newer trucks being so high, the shorter ramps make it way more butt clinching driving it up. So I just use my trailer now. ...

Cajun Meat Market in Houma makes some damn good burritos. I get mine without beans. They remind me of a way better version of the Taco Bell chili cheese burrito....
I have a Mach 30 lined up. I just need to tell the dude I want it and pay for it. Buy once, cry once correct?...
Happened once to me like that. Next time I just used some pull tight straps on the ramp. ...
I got into bow hunting last year. Went the used route just to make sure I enjoyed it. The bow I have is roughly 10 years old so I plan on upgrading soon. I'll probably still buy used just because you save a lot of money that you can spend on a good sight, arrows, etc....
Any of you guys shot any of these yet? I stopped at Songy’s in Houma last Thursday. He put the Lift X’s out that morning and had already sold the 29.5 so I couldn’t try it out. The 27.5 Lift was interesting! He was still waiting on the Hoyt RX9. The Mach 30 was smooth at my draw length. I had ...
