They use USA bats because they are safer options with less exit velocity than USSSA bats, but pitch from 46ft. Like previously said, it should be at least 50ft. Also at 12, you should be playing with regular baseball rules. Closed bases at 9, I get it, kids are learning how to pitch, but at 12 it makes zero sense.
After reading Portnoy's book, it doesn't matter if he hates you or not, as long as you're producing, he's good with it.
We did Giordano's not far from Wrigley. Bar pie and personal Chicago style was really good. Way better than That's Amore in Metairie.

You can do Forbidden and St. Pizza in the same day. They are not far from one another. Do Zee's too while you're at it. See which one you like best.

Forbidden and St. Pizza were both awesome!
Tower will do on any day.

Still need to try Zee's, Supremo, and Pizza delicious.
NY and New Haven. But every one of these are good in their own unique way.
Anyone use Bubba rods? I did see the Puglia's is having a sale on them.
My son loves his Penn 2500 reel. I think we just put it on an Academy or H20 rod. He's been reeling in some reds this summer.

Iron Will makes some nice knives also.
I compared a Renpho smart scale to InBody and they were pretty damn the same.

I'm half way through it. It's a good, easy read. I had no clue how they got started so that was really interesting. I follow them a ton now so it's impressive that some of the OG guys are still there.

Cancel Me if You Can by Dave Portnoy.
I agree. Get gas, take a leak, buy a drink and snacks, maybe a brisket sandwich and get the frick out. People who go shopping there for shite are just strange.
Maybe I need to get back to reading it. I got through 3-4 chapters and was like 'meh.'

Anyone read The Dog Stars?
Depending on where you ordered from, it may come with some. Lioncore actually sent some.
frick it. Day 1 of camp and Tyson is looking the part. Viable WRs and TEs this season will be really nice to watch. :nana:

If you retire at 55 and you aren’t active at all and just sit at home and do nothing, you would probably die earlier than if you retire at 60.

But, if you retire and live an active healthy lifestyle post retirement, I would think you’re better off retiring at 55.

This is why a lot of doctors work well into their late 60's and early 70's. The change in structure/purpose, staying up to date on medical research/technology keeps their minds functioning. If they retire, most feel out of sorts/without purpose and tend to decline quicker.
