Never understood why people go there outside of a corporate outing.
It sucks for actual golfers and their balls will damage your clubs. Also go about 60% of the distance they should go.

Affluent whites have moved on from top golf. They go to pickleball at Court to Table for “eatertainment”.

In the late 90s I thought a Dave and Busters would be a hit if it was located close to Tanger on HWY 30 in Gonzales. Now, as an older man, I know this is exactly how it would have gone within 3 years.

This will be the doom of all business if prices keep going up, and business keeps yielding downward. I was at a restaurant that was usually bustling with business, there was only 4 groups there eating. Their price comes out to about 20-25 a person for lunch. Nothing is special about the place. It is not like it is Ruth’s Chris or a Hooters.
Even some fast food restaurants I pass by around lunch are empty. Something is changing economically.

Honestly it needs to be more expensive than it is. It'd keep the riff raff away.

It’s not in other States, with lower percentages of “usual suspects”

Combo of GMC & Chevy squatted trucks that look like all of the accessories cost as much as my truck…some Nissan Blaximas…random assortment of other cars.
Only saw one or two what I’d consider “normal” TV sitcom families.
The lack of desire from the staff was the worst. My little guy asked if we could get a 1st floor bay..and the front desk clerk said we could but we wouldn’t be able to order any food….which looking back may have been fine.,,never got waters, had to ask for napkins and silverware multiple times…and the runner who brought our food said zero words. Not even to determine who ordered what.
More tats than I could count. Neck tats, calf tats, you name it.

Yea.... sometimes the wife and I go on expensive dates and wonder how is there this much garbage here then I remember.... most of these dipshits think nothing of adding to their mountain of debt

WeI went to Topgolf, probably three or four months ago in Baton Rouge and I thought the same thing didn’t really see any hillbillies but a lot of Democrats black thugs and it was way overpriced.
Not int in going back anytime soon.

Like everything else that starts off good, the trash always seems to follow a few years later. The decent people stop going because of said trash, then the place goes to shite.
There was a place on Canal Boulevard called Spanky’s which was awesome, watched the 2003 Sec championship game there. Great bar with an awesome humidor, before “cigar bars” became a thing, about two years after it opened, all the Westbank trash took over, place closed about 2 years after, building was even torn down.

I had never swung a golf club until college and am left handed so finding clubs to borrow or used to buy to get started was very difficult. Going to top golf for social outings gave me enough experience to say maybe golf isn’t as gay as my dad always said it was.

Louisiana has bad demographics in general but especially that area.
