re: Your IRL encounters with celebrities

Fred Durst and the bass player and drummer of Limp Bizkit. I owned an independent taxi cab company and picked them up at the Hilton down town. When they told me who they were I was impressed that they would take an ordinary taxi cab. They said they have a business budget too. And get this, they went to play golf! The course over by Claycut. They said few people ever recognize them playing golf. They enjoyed the peace as opposed to their loud and rowdy nightlife performances.
Also in my cab I met the bassist of Blind Melon. He told me he was from New Orleans. He wrote "No Rain" about an ex girlfriend who was bi polar. He went to play tennis at a court near the corner of Jefferson and Corporate.

This dude said a mouthful!

Always a divisive crowd when it comes to pit bulls. Let's clear up some confusion. Pit bulls are both the best and worst kind of dog. I'm not here to pretend they're not dangerous. Humans have killed more of everything on the planet than any other creatures in existence put together. So let's not pretend such self righteousness. That dog attacked a child unprovoked. Regardless of the breed, that's dangerous. Shoot it. It's the most merciful way to handle the problem. Don't judge a dog by it's breed, but rather by it's individual behavior. Dogs most often broadcast their intent. Pay attention and teach your kids the same. That is all.
