For some reason, I never got any phone alerts to the messages yall sent in sleeper.

I also have a 2 month old so, been pretty busy the last few weeks.
yes - almost immediately in terms of retaining heat in our cooler season.
I’m in a similar situation. Had cancer in my mid 20’s, 35 now.

Every quote I get just seems outrageous. $300 a month for 500k in term coverage. I don’t think it’s worth it.

My mindset is to just take the money and put it in a mutual fund. I have a really good prognosis and basically zero recurrence likelihood. Feel like I am making the right decision.

Van's Insulation
225-588-7290

I had about 8" of insulation in my attic. He came and blew in fiberglass up to R49 at a rate of $1.15/sq ft. Don't expect a fancy truck or company branding, but he did what he said he was going to do.
A few guys from last year left, but we had a good time. No issues and everything went smooth. If you guys want back in, you can have first dibs.

re: What happened to Top Golf?

Affluent whites have moved on from top golf. They go to pickleball at Court to Table for “eatertainment”.

It’s just the natural progression. Once they leave the riff raff takes over.

Too much work and not enough room for profit

Did that and just turned it back on and it's working again. I think the thermal overload had kicked in. It's cooling now, but only after I went into my storage shed and carried my heavy arse 12,000 BTU window unit into the house and started to set it up

When was the last time your outside unit was cleaned? I know you mentioned an electric surge, but it can also trip out on head pressure. If your coil needs to be cleaned, it will cause high pressure.

$14.60/ft with Timco. Seamless K style with round downspouts

I didn’t get a breakout but I think it’s 300’ and 8 downspouts. If you take the downspouts out I think it’s around $12/ft

For high end sockets, wrenches and tool storage look at snap-on

I don’t think he is looking for snap on tools for “around the house”

Snap on isn’t worth it unless you are a full time mechanic who likes to blow money
I bought a 40 gal short from Ferguson supply for about $750

DIY'd it. Dropped old one from attic and pushed new one up. The pipe handle that others mentioned earlier in the thread is a big help with attic work. I made my own out of a 90, T, and piece of pipe that I threaded through the T into the 90. The T and 90 screw onto the hot and cold taps in the tank.

I would buy from a plumbing supply store and not a big box store. They look the same, but better internals.

re: Verizon service in and around BR

They have a few different plans, but its like $40/mo per line for the top of the line.
I have bad service with Verizon in areas of BR. Changing to US Mobile in 2 months. They have a function where you can switch between T Mobile, Verizon and ATT towers whenever you want.
