Your probably thinking of the Master Plan, not the UDC.

Ironically, the Parish Council just tried to remove the Master Plan from the UDC. Before the UDC the MP was more of guidelines, the UDC is the law. Which now makes the MP the law and not a suggestion.

Why would they want to remove something that is an added layer of restrictions?

It never crossed your mind that I don't want another subdivision because what once was an ok drive to work is borderline miserable now and adding hundreds of additional vehicles isn't going to make it better?

A new traffic study showing additional failing intersections

Only now there's apparently some new information about an abandoned oil well.

These people were willing to sell homesites that are on top of a capped well and who knows what kind of metals in the topsoil from the washout.

The Ascension Parish government is failing it's citizens
