I think I only actually applied to LSU. Maybe UL. With TOPS I didn’t see much of a point looking out of state for undergrad. In hindsight I’m glad I got into LSU because I didn’t give myself a lot of options

Applied to LSU, Eastern Kentucky University, University of Kentucky, and Marshall University. Never had any intention of going anywhere other than LSU though, so when my letter of acceptance came from LSU I threw the others away and headed 960 miles south along several interstates with the biggest smile on my face that I'd ever had before or since.

Everybody hates me when I say it, but I really liked Auburn. I went to LSU and have zero regrets about it, but to this day I still somewhat pull for Auburn when they don’t play LSU.
