TIFWIW and check out secondary market sites to see that no one gives a $hit about the actual price/cost and the free enterprise system is in full display

Possible move to Northshore for new job: Madisonville vs Mandeville vs Covington??
Posted by RedStic15 on 7/31/26 at 7:23 am
Looking at a possible move from BR to the Northshore for a new job. Only familiar with the area due to kid's travel soccer games. I know the OT will provide excellent advice, but I'm not looking to move somewhere and not like the types of people I will be living around and interacting with out in the world. Public schools will also play a big part in where to look at for my residence.

Yeah, good luck getting Collis Temple to do anything to fix blight
Not a huge fan of the show being set up in the Quad. The PMAC ramp was the best location by far.

Last convoy of my Iraq deployment and took a direct hit from an IED in the pitch black night. Came damn close to a trouser change, unfortunately my machine gunner couldn't hold it in...
re: Jake Flint vs Nick Savage program comparison

How were his results sub-standard if A) soft tissue injuries were very very minimal B)LSU just had 3 of the fastest 40s for WRs plus one do the shuttle run better than everyone and C) his team loved and revered him due to his ability to get the most out of them plus be a great human. It is not Coach Flint's fault our OC sucked, our OL coach sucked, our RB coach is past his prime, and Nuss suffered an abdominal strain that he never let heal for long enough...
20th Annual CSAA (Formerly CSAL) 8th Grade Basketball - CHS Elite 8
Posted by RedStic15 on 2/26/26 at 2:43 pm
Talk about some BS with how the teams are seeded this year for the Elite 8 tournament. CHS at 3? St. Jude at 5? SJ beat CHS multiple times this year and even won a tournament, unlike Catholic. Having St. George 1 and Aloysius 2 is perfectly fine, but having the Baby Bears at 3 is laughable, at best. Smells like some home cooking for what is supposed to be a merit based end of the year tournament...

Armando Rios...didn't remember him until I saw this thread and remembered after looking at the roster his hit during a game in 93 won my brother a year's worth of free Powerade
I am a ref in this league and have reffed all of these teams at least once, most of the twice. Here would be my top 8:
1. Aloysius - will kill you with motion and backdoor cuts to the hoop. Very disciplined and PG #12 is really good.
2. George - Big, tough, efficient. Hard to put them away if you have a lead late.
3. Jude - Undersized physically but play way bigger. PG is very difficult to contain, crash def rebounds well, have no bench so fatigue /foul trouble major concern.
4. Theresa - Typical physical, gritty Gonzales boys. Big low post players that have big attitudes, witnessed their blowout of Mercy earlier in season and it was a thing of beauty.
5. CHS - has all of the ability but play too individually and with bad attitudes at times. They are own worst enemy.
6. STM - Tall, athletic, fast, can out jump any other team. Streaky shooters, but can drive to the rim any time they wish. Dark horse team for sure.
7. OLOM - Not their best team this year. Very respectful kids in a league full of primadonnas, but just lack that fire teams ahead of them have.
8. SJV - Too streaky to have anywhere but the bottom of the top 8 rankings.

That's the best the LSU golf course has looked in 15 years!

Watching Catholic-BR film there. Either to see how Knox would fit OR scouting Jayden Miles
I couldnt remember if they had any of the marquee, or second tier, opening weekend games, i.e. playing NC State or Baylor or something similar. Hope he's got the team ready to fire on all cylinders straight out of the gate!
Kiffin @ Ole Miss vs Strong Wk 1 Opponent outcome
Posted by RedStic15 on 12/3/25 at 12:51 pm
Not enough time to look back at OM schedules, but has LK coached against a very strong OOC team in Wk 1 while he was at OM? If so, how'd they do?
re: Just got word...Ed O is 100% coming back

So now Blake Baker's former boss is his employee?? Hope Baker can get Kiffin to hold Coach O to a very high standard of behavior/output/etc. so there wont be any shenanigans
re: Kiffin closed on a house in BR yesterday??

$$$ talks...and all of the talk about how can it close within a week of the visit last Monday could be the process was already started prior to that visit which would give more time for the offer to closing period
That house is great for co-ed viewing on a warm day
