It gets overshadowed by the 2008 and 2017 game but that 2004 Troy game was pretty ugly too. It took a late touchdown to win that one as well

LSU has a real ugly football history with Troy

I think he has a big bounce back year and we make a deep run but if somehow we miss the tournament again I think it's time to move on

It's so weird to me how popular this song is internationally. I've been all over and no matter where I am people go crazy and belt out Country Roads when it comes on

I've been in some dumpy bar in the Middle East and when Country Roads came on everyone went crazy. Watching a bunch of muslims who probably will never set foot in the US belt out Country Roads was pretty funny

That three week stretch of getting blasted by Mississippi State, looking like shite against a bad Syracuse team and then losing to Troy was some of the worst football I have ever seen

At least that 2017 team ended up being somewhat decent by the end of the year

I've always thought the 2005 Auburn game was pretty crazy too. Similar to the Oregon State game Auburn's good kicker missed 5 field goals including the one in overtime to give LSU the win

I have pretty vivid memories of that game as a kid growing up

Those early Les years had some insane things happen it seemed like almost every week
