I was laid off on Friday before last and was told to immediately leave. They said they would pack up my belongings and mail them to me. Well today I get the package and all of my valuable items are gone. Grades cards and autographed baseball and football worth some change.

Come today, I’m browsing on eBay and I see these items for sell in auction. Drew Brees autographed football, Harmon Killebrew autographed baseball, and all of my Barry Bonds certified autos. I can 100% confirm these are mine. What can be done?

OT lawyers assemble.

Do they have a Buy it Now price? If so, that's the only way you're getting them back!

Why did you take this stuff to work? Did you have all this displayed where the frosty machine was suppose to be or under the register?

Who delivered it on a Sunday?

They'll say it was all there when it was packed up

Oh yeah, quit taking toys to work. It's not a play space, just like the other guy last week.

Shouldn't be hard to track the ebay seller, if everything is under one seller. Contact HR first thing Monday.

First of all, I question all of this really happened. I will give you they shipped things and some of them were damaged but this is over the top. No way would they sell on eBay so soon after taking them. If it is true, post a link to some of items. If it is true, don’t come here to ask what to do. Call the police and tell them you have been robbed by your former employer. Go with them to former officer and confront the perps. Why do you need opinions on what to do. You sound like you deserved to be let go.

Never understood why people bring personal belongings to work. Work is work and home life is home life. I’ve been working at the same place for 2 decades, if they fired me tomorrow I don’t need anything from that office, all I would need to do is turn in my keys, badges, and laptop to HR.

If true, all you can do is file a police report at this point.
