I would like to know more about this. I have heard about him but never spoken to anyone who has done it. What does he charge for the fitting and can he then order the clubs you want? Does he lean to one brand or another? Do you leave with your swing information in a file or printout? Etc.
Thanks. That who is who I was sure of. Just wanted to see if any others would be recommended.

Jeep CJ service around Baton Rouge

Posted by contraryman on 8/14/26 at 5:06 pm
Well, I finally did a thing that I’ve been waiting a long time to do. I found an all original low mileage 1980 CJ7 that is in great shape. Drives great. I will be the fourth owner and have the history of the two owners before me. It’s been well taken care of and other than it being 46 years old, is solid.

I’m handy but working on cars is something I haven’t done too much of so I’m planning to learn a lot using YouTube and chat boards. I am looking for a place. I can take it if it is beyond what I’m comfortable with. I know about searchers as I had a nephew worked there while in college, but I’m interested in other shops that can do stuff for me if it is beyond my capabilities. Does anyone have any recommendations around Baton Rouge?

No ducks.
I struggle with this a good bit. What keeps me going is my wife and kids. After some initial stupidity right out of college, I met the correct girl, settled down, and tried to make something of it. I finally settled into work got on it, saving and working and saving and working. Have two wonderful daughters that I’ve put through private school and college. Second one is starting graduate school next week and we have enough money to cover it also. Kept my wife happy and in her houses with the little grocery store right around the corner…. and her work not very far from those. I am blessed beyond measure.

Unfortunately, lost my longtime job last year during a private equity takeover/power grab. No one needs the old guy who knows everything causing unrest. Now I’m trying something different and it’s OK but doesn’t light my fire. I’m getting restless and I’m contemplating moving to a new state a new area and start over with a small lifestyle. That way I can make it another eight years until I retire.

But yeah, it sucks to be a restless ship sometimes.

I stopped at Bengals and bandits and bought a visor. The hats don’t look exactly like the ones you get for supporting the Golf program. There are plastic/rubber Mike that’s attached to a hat. Not terrible, but not the same. The ones on the visor are stitched.
First of all, I question all of this really happened. I will give you they shipped things and some of them were damaged but this is over the top. No way would they sell on eBay so soon after taking them. If it is true, post a link to some of items. If it is true, don’t come here to ask what to do. Call the police and tell them you have been robbed by your former employer. Go with them to former officer and confront the perps. Why do you need opinions on what to do. You sound like you deserved to be let go.

Why not? It’s better than the zydeco. And if they bring back that stupid parrot as the mascot……
Those colors are correct. Here is a preview of the mascot.

Well, that is a narrow minded way to think about a doctorate degree. Regular PT used to be two years, with additional years for specialties. Now it is a DPT program that has additional years for specialties. Depending where you go after graduation salaries could be much higher. The population is only getting older and staying active. This equals more injuries and more therapy to remain active. Why would that be a bad thing?

I agree, but I’m not there. It’s two visitors to a hospital. They just shared the video with the staff.
