That dude’s thread was honest. This is such a weird troll attempt on him.

If that’s true, he can file a police report. All those certified and graded items have serial numbers. With a police report PSA will flag the numbers stolen in its registry. He probably will never see the item again, but it will ruin future resale for anyone else.

Right, and legit memorabilia for sale isn't legit without COA's and no one will buy it so, just like with anything else valuable, have the unique identifiers on hand. I hope if there is an a hole who tries to sell this stuff, he's dumb enough to get arrested and lose his job outright.

Dude probably wasn't counting on his stuff being grifted out of his personal belongings though. That's what happened.

Like I said. I work for a sports agent company. That’s normal to bring things like that. Anyway. I’ll just take it up the arse, just like most of yall do on here.

You were asked to leave immediately and wasn’t allowed to get your stuff? You weren’t “laid off” you were fired.

Yep. This. I would call up the boss and let him know that the cops are about to be called.

If the OPs story is legit, the former boss is gonna have a few sleepless nights.

Most likely the OP is SOL but its worth a shot.

Moral of the story, don't bring valuable items to your job.

I disagree….you spend more time at work than anywhere else, so you should absolutely be able to bring stuff to work to enjoy it. It is not unreasonable to expect that your stuff won’t be stolen and sold on eBay. However, thieves are not the smartest frickers in the world.
