Not a shock. Vancouver is basically Canada's version of Manhattan.

No one wants to live there with all those people.

I visited Vancouver about 10 years ago. The bus driver driving our group from the airport to downtown was an old Vancouver native. He was pointing out various noteworthy things/locations to the group. As we neared downtown he said, with a not so subtle degree of salt in his tone: "Folks, to your right is Vancouver. And to your left is Hong Kong"

Spent a couple of days there this year. It was ok if you like big cities. Bad areas were fairly contained. Lots of liberals as one might expect. The cost of everything there was crazy. Ate at a 5 star Chinese place that was amazing.

It would be an exhibitionist's dream.

Where does a man go when he needs to take a dump?

Vancouver is actually a pretty nice city with a cool backdrop

So is it only this space or is there more inside the sliding doors? How does one use the bathroom? Cook dinner?
I assume that’s someone trying to rent a bed to a roommate to help pay bills so he is utilizing the space for something but you still get access to the common space like kitchen, bathroom, living room. It’s still ridiculous but I feel there’s a lack of context in the Reddit post for rage bait

If you're hanging out in your room in Vancouver in the Summertime you're doing it wrong.

What's that amount in real money?

That’ll make a perfect smash pad for an executive across the street.

Probably a bullshite listing; there is no way that is legal to rent as a bedroom in Vancity.
