That view sucks. All those buildings are ugly, void of character, and depressing. It looks like the view of Soviet city.

Yet another problem you can thank a progressive government for...
Investment and speculation is another cause, but if you have a government that you know is inviting in hundreds of thousands of new "residents", you'd be wise to snatch up some real estate and ride it up too.
