The Republican Party in California must have terrible people doing its opposition research. Seems like this should have come out years ago during a campaign.

Almost like the 2 party system is a sham, huh? The man behind the curtain doesn't even seem to have to even try to stay hidden anymore. People just don't care now.

Over, sounds like easy money to me.

Someone buy Principal Moore a cold one. Nice work sir.

He showed more bravery than the entire Uvalde (Sham) Police Department. I hope those clowns have no peace in life.

That play at home plate was one of the most clutch defensive plays in LSU baseball history in my opinion. He doesn’t make that we lose the series and Wake goes on to play Florida.

Nothing wrong with the prosecution arguing that.

People metabolize at different rates, it doesn’t hold up in court because its not an empirical form of measurement, such as, measurable levels of intoxicants. The State has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they were above the legal limit at the time of the incident. Such is the burden of proof and the foundation of our entire criminal justice system.

Jesus there are some liberal cuck soyboys in this thread

You serious? I couldn't stand Biden but he was lampooned for years when the price of gas was above $3, and its a fair argument that Trump impacted the price of gas directly moreso than Biden did years ago.

At least try to at least be somewhat objective otherwise you're just a shill for one side.

Our experiment isn't ending and the bleak outlook for our grandkids is overblown.

How is it overblown? The US Dollar being propped up by global oil exchange is a massive stabilizer to the inflation rate of our currency.

We may be seeing the beginning of the end of our economic influence abroad if our military can't demonstrate competence on a global scale.

We have a fundamental problem with the Europeans. We feel close to them as something like 80pct of us have european roots and live a quasi-european culture.

quote:

Yet the vast majority of white/euro people here in the state left europe because they didn't like how things were going and wanted something better. We rejected the kings and nobility and establishment and economics in search of a place with more opportunity and better rule of law.

This isn't discussed enough in my opinion. This country was founded by men who largely believed we should arrange ourselves to stay out of global conflict, which at the time was Euro-centric, no matter where the war occurred. We need to ask ourselves if our political framework is compatible with being a global empire whose operations span every continent in the world.

The problem is we have structured our economy and the US dollar in such a way that outright withdrawal is not a option. We've built a house of cards and we're trying to survive a tornado of change.

My biggest issue with this whole operation is not that we are attacking Iran. They've been asking for it for some time. But please tell me why the execution of this operation seems haphazard at best? We're blowing up bridges in Iran that aren't even fully-constructed yet? Destroying civilian infrastructure that firmly places us in war crimes territory. We're just galvanizing resistance to anything we try to do there. The whole thing is a mess.

Then to make matters more interesting, shitcanning much of your senior brass right before a potential ground invasion? Is Trump, a person with no experience in war-fighting, going to be drawing up battle plans?

Except for a shitty attempt at being an ACAB shitlord, what exactly about this officer makes you think he has a fragile ego?

I didn't say that all cops are bastards, but I'm glad you volunteered that statement.

I haven't met one who wouldn't (at least) look the other way or make a false statement to protect their fellow brother in blue.
I couldn't get through the whole thing, but a cop can legally order you out of the vehicle on a traffic stop. Regardless if you think the stop is valid.

That's one of two things I don’t challenge on a stop. The other is showing ID and POI. Even if its an illegal stop, you aren't going to win your case on the side of the road, and not complying with those two things almost always make these fragile ego cops fly off the handle.

If they stopped you illegally, sue them later.

I felt the admin should have stood by him and middle fingered the NCAA

Maybe but you have to understand the position. The stuff swirling around the basketball program was potentially a sea anchor to the cash cow of football. It was too large an investment not to protect.

Hindsight says that any punishment would have been vacated, but the administration thought they had to react to the laws of the land at the time. You may not agree with it but you have to see why they did it.

This writer used to write in Philadelphia, I'm not surprised their "style" is overly-opinionated, trashy and brash. If anyone reads CNN for sports news they deserve to be mislead anyway.

For as much as I shite on Fox, their news section on the website was pretty good when I used to read it. It was fairly impartial, and for a site like Fox, that was surprising to me. CNN has never attempted being impartial in anything.
For reasons of anonymity, I do not wish to participate. But please, if I am picked, give my clothes to theantiquetiger so he doesn't have to keep going to garage sales to look for LSU gear.

Another cold hard fact is that it can turn on a dime from week to week, that's baseball.
In ancient times, they associated eating cheese/drinking milk with Mongolian/Steppe culture. Chinese were not a fan of breaking cultural norms.

The problem is the voter is not viewed as the chief constituent. If you look at the history of the term and how it was used, its morphed from the implication that "we the people" were the constituents of our elected official. Today, when someone refers to a constituent, they are more than likely referring to a PAC, lobby or donor that has bought their vote. Without real election reform we will not have a truly free society with a government of people elected by the people ever again.
He was in a slump, no doubt. That RBI double was nice to see though, hopefully he continues to climb out of the hole he's in.
