So you’re saying no one alive today positively benefited from slavery in the US

I know I sure as shite haven't and I am not looking for any handout.
Pretty sure slavery originated in other countries. Perhaps direct some hatred that way.. it was the law at a different point in time. It's time to move on. Blacks owned slaves as well. You still going to give those ancestors reparations as well? It's hypocritical as hell.
The actual amount of whites (as well as others) owning slaves is likely a very small percentage. Several actual gave their lives to free them. Was that bloodshed not enough? People paid with their lives for them to be free. People have fought literally and politically to afford equal opportunity.
It's time for some people to quit bitching about reparations.

We been paying reparations in the form of welfare for how long already. How bout we get their own people who slid them to pitch in.

So if black have been so oppressed and have no way to achieve prosperity in present day United States...how exactly did you become a billionaire???
A question no one asks.
It’s even been forgotten that we just had a black president. Was a big deal at the time but sort of an inconvenient historical footnote now. Goes against the narrative.

What about mixed race people like Obama? Do they get only half?
Obama is a Good example. His Father was born in Kenya and most likely was not a descendent of a slave in the US

Let me know when this will happen.I'll buy a liquor store and an Escalade dealership.

Yeah, because once the government pays out, all of their problems will magically disappear..

His ancestors may have been involved in the slave trade - in that case he would owe someone reparations.
It's all so very confusing.

I’m sure Senator Elizabeth Warren has applied for her reparations. 1/2,400th black, brown,red...she probably is due $1-3MM?????
