And of that 30 million, what like 25% actually owned slaves? So, are we gonna track down those descendents? How about the free blacks that owned slaves? Are we gonna do genealogy to find out those descendents? How about the millions of Africans that have immigrated since the civil war? Same with white immigrants
His idea is lacking any logic or nuance and sounds like something a mentally handicapped person would say

I have Irish and French heritage. My mom’s family has been here since the 1700s. My dad’s immigrated after the Civil War. Do I pay half the taxes on this since half my heritage wasn’t here for that time period?
