Maybe technically true but it sounds way more dramatic than it was. The old score board burned.

That Old scoreboard has been wrapped with a Service Chevrolet ad/ billboard for at least the last 10+ years

Work crews have been working on the back fence metal frame recently . May have had a spark from that plus piles of super dry pine needles in 98 degree heat don’t help

We are testing 10 gig in markets and it will soon be mainstream. 5 gig will be the new 1 gig within 18 months based on price decreases

:wha: 5 gig will be priced similar to what 1 gig is now?!?

I hope so.

Looks like Black and White 1965.

Same here . Grey tint to everything

I think it’s the KATC feed. Not like that in other places

My neighbor has a grandson on an 8 man team in Lafayette. Thats all I got. Said enrollment at that private school dictates that. I didn't know that was a thing in LA

It’s not part of LHSAA. It’s a separate organization that runs that. There’s also another 8 man organization with north Louisiana teams .

But yeah it’s definitely an enrollment thing for those schools vs participation levels

Not as a Saints fan as a child

No scale is going to give an accurate BF%

I get that but this thing will go from 3% to 15% day to day. It’s one thing for it to be off a little if it was consistent but that big of a swing is useless information that doesn’t help anything

has anyone used the inbody H40? Looking for reviews

It’s trash from my experience. Body fat readings are all over the place . No consistency at all

Or did the Judge's ruling cause the bussing of black kids to predominantly white schools outside their district to force the issue?

This. It killed neighborhood schools and the concept of them

Kids spent hours on busses being bussed across the metro area. It killed parent involvement, extra curriculars etc

It also hampered school maintenance and new schools being built during that period . EBRPS went to shite over that period. A big reason why Zachary, Central and Baker got the frick out

Honestly, just buy a whole new smart TV.

Firesticks are awesome and they work, and I have a bunch of them, but they are all laggy compared to a dedicated smart TV.

I respectfully disagree with this . Quite the opposite from my experience or at least with higher end Samsung smart tvs. They get laggy AF after 2-3 years even though the picture quality is still great

My Sony OLED is a little better with Google tv interface but it's still underpowered compared to a dedicated streaming device such as an Nvidia Shield and the like

Not being mean, but explain to me why taxpayers across the country should pay billions for a 50 year old project in the 133th largest metro area in the country to improve a highway to save a few people maybe, hopefully 5-7 minutes going through the area. Its not like congestion is stifling the region, although I get the annoyance. It would be different if the Lafayette region and the State of Louisiana could contribute significantly, but the state is apparently broke. I'm all for investing in local infrastructure, but this seems like it should be far down the line of statewide priorities

Interstate highways are not about "local" traffic

If there were men's college soccer scholarships available at every college in the country you can bet your butt there would be more boys pursuing that opportunity.

So yeah, Title 9 is holding men's soccer back. Look what those college opportunities have done for USA women's soccer.

This. Better U.S. athletes would pursue soccer to get college scholarships vs totally gravitating to other sports

But LA is def coming out of the post-JBE slump and it’s been win after win on the economic development front.

Louisiana didn’t have shite for economic development during those 8 years
