The Saudis have confirmed that they’re sending troops. Do you honestly think a Wahhabist government is going to assist in removing veils? No
Eh the Crown Prince hasn't really shown to give as much of a shite. He's pissed off enough people with his 2030 reforms. Iran is the region's #1 pain in the arse by far and regional stability (read: $$$) is easily worth the price of a more secular Persia to any member of the House

And Gulf Arab states are about to enter the war, almost certainly to help prevent Iran from becoming too Westernized
There isn't really a war to enter at this point, nor are they in a position to be driving anything. That would be us. If we want a Starbucks and Chipotle on every Tehran street corner, that's how it's going to be

Do you honestly think that Persian Shia are going to tolerate Arab Wahabbist Sunnis as an occupying force? Iran looks like a complicated country to govern.

my friend went there like ten or twelve years ago, he loved it. He had to travel through some other country obviously, but Iran didnt stamp his passport. He had great things to say about Tehran and the mountains as well as the locals.

I went to Pyongyang in 2015 and cant say I had a great experience, but they didnt stamp my passport either.

Oh yeah, US regime change has worked out great in Afghanistan,Syria, Libya and Iraq. All those countries are worse now than when we got involved.

A lot of middle eastern countries have some of the most beautiful landscapes. Breathtaking mountains beautiful beaches.

I would love to travel over there if it ever became safe to do so.
