We have a small Hispanic church close to where I live and when they have one of their whatever celebrations and are outside cooking....aw lawd the fantastic smells when you drive by.

Save several lids that are cut off when you open canned goods. You will need them to tack over the holes when the little sharp toothed devil starts gnawing through the sides. Trust me, it will.
Pops had a small "trap door" that he would ease open and drop in pecans, corn, etc. and had a small tin can nailed to the inside that he could pour water into.
Wish I could figure out how to draw up what I am trying to describe and post it.

I was in the middle of taping on my iPhone for a social video from the White House North Lawn when we heard the shots. It sounded like dozens of gunshots. We were told to sprint to the press briefing room where we are holding now.

Yep. Had one when I was somewhere around 12 years old (almost 60 years ago). Dad made a cage out of a big wire spool....like in the pic. Covered about 75% with hardware cloth and the rest with metal and hung it from a tree with the tin part facing up for rain coverage. He removed one of the board in the middle section and this is where the tree rat would hide out. Had him for 2-3 years and we finally turned him loose. Damn thing stayed around and loved to hang out in a large mulberry tree in the backyard.

Truck and a 2001 Wrangler for tooling around. Liability only on the Jeep which is something like $700 a year so not too bad.
