The endzones are 21 years running. Do better LSU.

Won’t happen with Mark Lee in charge. Agree or not, Mark believes TS is comparable to Wrigley, Fenway, Lambeau in terms of classic looks that stand the test of time. People come to TS expecting the current design and we should refrain from chasing trends.

I’ve seen badass renderings submitted to admin only for them to be declined.

Certainly not criticizing his belief. I can see his point
Every now and then my TikTok will stumble on the local gentlemen of NBR showing off. Its scary

Most of the western companies have end of life plans that let their equipment "fall" back into the atmosphere and burn away

We were flying back from Louisville yesterday and the pilot came back mid-flight and said we needed to land in Gonzales because of issue at BTR.

What were you on?

I think it would do great in Austin as the first and solitary major pro sports franchise and the excitement that would surround it.

Raleigh and Columbus have proven the model can be successful. Why compete with the Big 3 sports for attention when you can have Austin to yourself from January to June? UTexas baseball and basketball are "big" but won't draw the non-UT fans away from hockey.

Again, I have no clue how this shite works

In January 2026, SpaceX filed plans with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for millions of satellites, leveraging reusable launches and Starlink integration to extend cloud and AI computing into orbit.[11] Around the same time, Blue Origin announced the TeraWave constellation of about 5,400 satellites, designed to provide high-throughput networking for data centers, enterprise, and government customers.[12] Meanwhile, China announced a 200,000-satellite constellation, focusing on state coordination, data sovereignty, and in-orbit processing for secure, time-critical applications.[13]

In February 2026, Starcloud submitted a proposal to the FCC for a constellation of up to 88,000 satellites for orbital data centers.[14] In March, it announced intentions to be the first to mine Bitcoin in space, flying bitcoin mining ASICs on its second satellite, Starcloud-2.[15]

In May 2026, Edge Aerospace was awarded a contract by the European Space Agency under its Space Cloud program to study use cases, architectures and implementation roadmap for orbital data centers.[16]

Basically, Starlink has thousands of low altitude satelittes providing internet. The data centers would be at a higher altitude and act as a mothership to them.

There's a number of disadvantages but with rocket costs going down, solar arrays providing cheap energy, and no need for water...I think we will see at least one major provider emerge
Girl Sport: Probably volleyball. Travel volleyball can run about $5k for elite teams but there's a number of local clubs that keep costs below $3k

Boys sport: Lacrosse? Golf? who frickin knows...

Where are those new mini nuclear reactors we heard about last year?

They are coming. I beleive Trump just signed legislation that clears some of the regulatroy hurdles that has encumbered nuclear development.

Thorium reactors are really cool.

But I think the future of data centers will be in space or miniturized.

Looks like the gear was at least partially down

Beech Musketeer C24R. Gorgeous plane....

Plane is registered to Hill Country Construction...
Nets and Islanders should both move.

Mets, Nets, and Islanders all have the same business model. Tap into the 7M ppl who live on Long Island. But by keeping a toe in NYC, you lose any identity other than being a little brother to the true NYC franchises

Obviously dramatic take

I’ve experienced a go around in a storm when the pilots reached minimums and couldn’t see runway.

It’s certainly jarring. You feel 2-3g’s on the ascent so maybe that’s why it felt like 90*
The entire 1986 NY Mets roster

But in particular

Kenny Dykstra
Darryl Strawberry
Doc Gooden

The LA constitution in general pisses me off.

Too many protected interests. Too many legislators for a state our size

No reason a municipality should require a state wide referendum to exist or create a school district
I have a really great side hustle providing technical support to college football games/bowls. The money helped early in my career but now, it’s just too cool to give up.
I wouldn’t limit it to just Mexicans. Grew up in a neighborhood with Puerto Rican and Dominican families. It was like growing up with three moms. Great, hardworking, family oriented people. They could flat out cook as well
