Is the idea of big concerts at Tiger Stadium dead? This year people are realizing there are very few concerts that can fill a football stadium
The new PMAC is a good option. Only problem is most concert promoters prefer NOLA or Lafayette at the moment. We will need to make a very compelling offer to pull concerts.
I don’t think the River Center does a good enough job booking events. They seem to be on cruise control and not driving their own growth through new opportunities

Wranglers and Broncos are not typical “SUVs”. Make sure she understands the ride is rough and noisy and to not expect it to drive like her Highlander

VY is a good example
I don’t see Culpepper as a “failed QB”
I think David Carr could have been a great QB in the Josh McDaniels or Sean Payton systems.

It’s inevitable that someone that throws as hard as he does will blow out his elbow. He’s injured and is just gutting through on lower velo because if he took surgery now he’d miss rest of this year and likely all of next
There’s a lockout looming. Why not have surgery now expecting that the time missed next season is gonna be canceled anyways?

Cool Web series following Cal Fire Aviation

Pretty cool little series showcasing the aviation division of Cal Fire. Great flight footage and provides a broad understanding of how firefighters attack these large wildfires. Each episode is 15 minutes.
Those guys are badass!

ATT and REV installed competing fiber on opposite sides of the road in our neighborhood. The contractors installing it caused multiple water main breaks, and gas leaks. Miserable experience with zero accountability

agree with you but service related injuries don’t always involve combat. I get your point a freaking cook shouldn’t get 100% for ptsd and that happens all the time. No matter what the program is someone is out there working it and teaching others to work it. It’s not just the VA.
Isn’t the VA the largest entitlement program in the federal budget now?
Assisting veterans through the VA disability process is a billion dollar cottage industry. Every servicemember separating from active duty gets bombarded by predatory businesses whose sole purpose is to help you get a disability rating in exchange for a commission.

I've never had to do an update before. Do they tell you to download it on a USB to self install or do you have to go into the dealership?
Seems like a slick way to get you in front of a "Service Advisor" for other upsells

There’s one vendor who prepares various Greek spice rubs and marinades. They are damn good. Better than I could make and flavors I would not have thought to put together

Smaller vendor turnout than expected but still grabbed

Siegen Lane traffic improvements awarded $19M grant

ST. GEORGE, La. (WAFB) - The City of St. George announced Wednesday, July 15, that they were awarded $19,247,698 in FY 2026 BUILD funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation for SAFE Siegen.
SAFE Siegen is a major corridor-improvement project focused on safety, access, and more predictable movement along Siegen Lane between I-10 and U.S. Highway 61/Airline Highway.
City officials said the project will improve approximately 1.35 miles of Siegen Lane by advancing street components, including landscaped raised medians, upgraded signal systems, continuous side paths and pedestrian crossings, upgraded transit stops, and enhanced lighting.
IMHO raised medians is just going to make the turn lanes unbearbaly long...

Won’t happen with Mark Lee in charge. Agree or not, Mark believes TS is comparable to Wrigley, Fenway, Lambeau in terms of classic looks that stand the test of time. People come to TS expecting the current design and we should refrain from chasing trends.
