There's really nothing to take schematically from this series because Zion isn't playing.
Hint: Watch OKC, not the Pels...
One place I'd love to see reopen is Carmine's. The first site I ate at was out by the lake in Bucktown but that one closed down.
Or was burned to the ground for insurance money....
You replace those shots in many ways, some of which are more shots for Zion and Trey, meaning, more efficient shots.
You still need someone to run the offense through when Zion is not in the game. Trey cannot do that becuase his handle is a mess and he lacks a first step. CJ can ...
BI isn't a #2, so we don't lose a #2 by trading him.
You lose 20 ppg of self created buckets. Teddy is rightfully saying if you get rid of Ingram, that some equivalent offensive engine needs to come back to replace him. Trey is not there yet from a creation perspective and if you...
Somebody asked Willie if OKC keeps making adjustments that Pels cant figure out, what do you do? So basically hey Willie, you’re being thoroughly outcoached, what can you change? All Willie can respond is “we just have to be aggressive”. It’s so ridiculous how pathetic he is. We weren’t beatin...
So we lost 2 games on the road. Big wooptie doo. Win game 3 and everything will be alright. A series doesn't get interesting until a road team wins a game.
‘Alright’ is optimistic. 2-0 teams in Round 1 are 183-13 on the series. ...

re: Organization is soft

We have a poorly constructed roster. No ball handlers. No one that can collapse a defense outside of Zion. No rim protection. Limited rebounding. Basic offensive sets. No adjustments. Seeing a real contender attack our weaknesses relentlessly plays this bare and hopefully convinces Griff to ...
I would bet his teammates are sick of seeing his arse on the bench in a playoff dogfight.
Z ain’t saving them from this arse whoopin. Use as many excuses as you want, we aren’t close to OKC on talent, development, roster construction, assets, or coaching....
We had a top 10 offense and defense. Of course we can get better, but where we need to get better is a very obvious answer, and it's in the clutch, and Jarrett Allen does nothing for that. WHy are we fixing an issue that isnt' a big issue for us, and ignoring the fact that we were the worst ...
Cleveland seems close in a conference that is a much lower mountain to climb than the west.
But Mitchell supposedly wants out of the small market and if they get smoked by Boston, he’s not changing his mind. If Mitchell asks out, they will be building around Garland/Mobley. In...
I listed all those guys. SGA doesn't take the 3's, but he gets to the rim a lot more than BI does, and the other guys that shoot as many mid range shots as BI might not get to the rim as much either, but they shoot a lot more 3's. It's not that BI doesn't take enough 3's, or doesn't get to t...
MJ in La is a huge money grab. $250 fee to get the medical license (which is a joke, the Doctor accepts everyone as a patient if they can afford) Then 250$ charge every 3 months to for your prescription to stay active.
You can get a Groupon for a consultation with a doctor for ...
You think BI's game is obsolete b/c he shoots too many mid range shots and not enough 3's, when there's other guys out there that take just as many mid range shots and not enough 3's. BI's game isnt' obsolete. He's just not playing it at the level those other guys are
It's not so ...
Without looking it up, I would wager that the people pushing this bill have ties to the pharmaceutical industry and/or medical marijuana monopoly.
A couple big dollar donors from the booze and medical marijuana industries....
Would you not agree that coaching has a lot to do with the 3 of them not playing well together? And i agree BI cuases problems with the offense at times, but in what world is it smart to have BI and Zion on the court together and Zion goes to the short corner and does nothing?
Zio...
We desperately need a true PG
Who in the league do you consider to be a “true pg”? That position like the lumbering big is fading into irrelevance. ...
Yes I know. But Chet is not AD. AD is not giving up 20 rebounds to JV or Nurkic like Chet does. Theres a HUGE difference. Again you’re assuming Chet is built like these players if he was they wouldn’t have these massive rebounding issues.
Thunder don’t want a lumbering big like Jon...

re: Hawkins on the bench?

Posted by NOFOX on 4/22/24 at 12:53 pm
Teams generally run 8-9 man rotations in the playoffs. Pels staff decided (and impact stats back them up) that Hawk is not ready for playoff basketball as a rookie. Pels oddly gave Dyson 3 minutes of run last night as our 9th, but teams typically do not do that and I think Dyson gets more of those...

re: When Did CJ Get This Bad?
Yeah, CJ's handle is fine, he's just not an explosive athlete with a great first step. Same for Brandon. They both struggle to get past good defenders when being pressured one-on-one. Sadly, Willie seems to endorse the old NBA cliche that, at the end of the game, you just give it to ...

re: When Did CJ Get This Bad?

CJ has been great this year because he has been an amazing perimeter shooter and wasn't asked to do too much. With Ingram shitting the bed this post-season, CJ is being expected to carry too much of a load. He's also a histroically non-clutch playoff performer....
