Wuhl was supposed to only have one scene in "Batman" as Knox, but he was so funny that Tim Burton kept putting him in more scenes.
LSU lost because they had a subpar Vault rotation. HOWEVER OU was overscored! The best example of this is the beam. OU was wobbling all over the beam and was almost falling off. Took big steps on landing but still got 9.9's. LSU has no wobbles, flawless routines and stuck landings yet they get 9.8.

Take off your crimson and cream glasses and look at it objectively.

1. OU is a great team that does what they do best (minimum difficulty but done flawlessly)

2. THEY ARE OVERSCORED
Gymnastics judges decide before the meet what team should win and they score accordingly. They have it in their heads that OU is awesome so they don’t make mistakes. Cognitive bias them causes them to ignore or be less critical of OU mistakes
In a sport that is solely based on judging it’s not bitching!
197.925 good road score. Lost it on the vault.
Coen had no balance checks and sticks landing and of course she gets a 9.875!
Isn’t that cute! Almost full gym. They are scalping LSU home tickets
OU’s floor will be way overscored. They won’t do half of the stuff LSU did.
If Torres wobbled any more she would fall off! But it’s OU 10!
WTF!!! 9.85 for Nina? That routine was flawless!
Compare LSU and OU’s beam scores. Just like bars our mistakes cost more.
Could the female announcer slobber more over OU?

How does this explain LSU winning the title 2 years ago

OU fell on their arse TWICE in vault during the semis, so the judges had no choice but score them low. OU misses the finals. LSU was clear #2 ranked all year.

Thank you for proving my point.

Football is all about ref bitching too.

its always ref blaming when losing.

Not this year... It was Brian Kelly blaming!
There have been times when LSU was against lesser opponents where they made a mistake that was not penalized as much a it could've been. Just because you don't want to hear about OU favoritism doesn't mean it isn't true.

So what is your theory on why the judges show bias for OU?

It's the judges not OU's fault, but gymnastic judges go into a meet deciding who they think should win based on reputation and it affects how they vote. Same thing in skating, if you watched the Olympics.
