They returned most everyone from their 1994 team that beat Miami for the NC.
lol no they didn't. They replaced about half their starters including 4 OL TE FB and WR didn't matter still had the GOAT offense and GOAT team period.

Where do yall be coming up with this stuff?

Punk eyes still soft like babyshkt
Vince Young with the right coaching and support could have been the GOAT. Instinctual he's the best scrambled ever and had super underrated accuracy(arm strength was average though)

It's not like a bunch of blue chips will be available in February to sign, most everyone is doing it today
there's plenty of recruits they can steal in February

ND is going to jump Alabama if they lose by 13 to the #3 team in the country who they have already beat at their place? All with a top 5ish SOS and most ranked wins(idk if this is true anymore) and same record as ND?

That would be gay af
dont get spanked by the 13th best team in the ACC

Now imagine containing Nebraska’s running game and having three first rounders in the secondary, including the GOAT at FS

Irrelevant because:

1) they contained the run by committing all 11

2) Frazier didn't throw 4tds because their WRs "routed up" the DBs lol. They did so with misdirection and play action

3) KSU had an All American safety

Why do you keep bringing up OU during the Switzer years? You can use the excuse of well teams that beat you in the past aren't as good as teams you beat that year to discredit any team ever
quote:

They were 4-4 before they lost their last 8 and 5 of those games were one score losses. Their defense couldn’t stop anyone so yeah they had to go to their best weapon who was the best receiver in the league.

Are you legit retarded?

Are you retarded?!?!?! This is how I know you didn't actually watch football that year

Lions were the kings of scoring in the last few minutes to make it look like the game was close when in reality they were down 2 scores for most of the game

Also look up his stats when they were 4-4 vs when they were losing every game. 1200 of those yards came in the last 8 games.

Stafford 2nd most pass attempts in the history of the NFL. If you look up stat padding in the dictionary its a picture of 2012 Calvin Johnson

I’m not avoiding it at all. I just think a little bit more highly of prime OU, Miami, and FSU defenses than 1995 Kansas State.

The Miami defenses of the U days were designed to stop Oklahoma and Nebraska. Jimmy Johnson spent five years at Okie Stare defending both teams every year and damn near beat them both the year before bolting to Miami.
Again 95 KSU contained Nebraska's run game just like you claim OU Miami or FSU would have done(held their RBs to under 4 ypc). But Frazier threw 4tds and scored on D and Special Teams and still blew them out
quote:

You are basically also arguing that if a team has a HOF WR they shouldn’t use him at all if their team is arse particularly on defense.
Lol can you read? I'm arguing that the stats dont count the same when you're getting force fed meaningless yards that have no impact on the outcome of the game

6-5-1 tells the story

According to you record doesn't matter, future NFL production is what actually counts

quote:

I said teams with elite defensive personnel who schemed to beat Nebraska because they faced them regularly in big games.

All Americans are by definition the elite players... KSU had 3 of them and were extremely familiar having to play them every single season.

And what you keep avoiding is the fact that KSU did exactly what you claim Miami or OU or FSU would have done which is contain Nebraska's run Nebraska still dominated with Frazier throwing 4tds + scored on D & Special Teams
quote:

Who was the best receiver Rodgers ever had? Adams? Jordy Nelson?

Rodgers never exactly had a great stable of receivers or backs.
from his 1st start he had arguably the best WR group in the league.(Jennings Driver etc) Adams is a borderline HOFer. Cobb was a top 5 slot. Graham was still solid. Jones was a top 10ish back for nearly decade
quote:

So stats dont count if you’re losing the game? How many yards did Kupp and Julio have in garbage time in their best seasons?
a tiny fraction of what Calvin had

15 Falcons 8-8 still alive to make the playoffs in week 16 628 pass attempts

21 Rams 12-5 607 pass attempts

Lions 4-12 pretty much only playing to get him the record after week 9 or 10. 740 pass attempts (2nd most ALL TIME)
quote:

Megatron’s single season receiving record
The most trash record in football.

AT LEAST 1/3rd of those yards came in garbage time 4th quarter drives with Stafford force feeding him the ball

Globetrotter747
still waiting to here you tout how awesome Nebraska D was because they spanked 6-5-1 MSU had Saban Banks Mason Muhammad lolllllolll

It's also hilarious that you continue to avoid talking about KSU who did exactly what you claim these 1st rd pick and HOFers would have done and it didn't matter because Frazier threw 4 tds and Nebraska scored on D and on Special Teams and blew them out.
quote:

Honest question...how did you really feel when Michigan lost to Appalachian State?

Disappointed because I thought UM had a chance to have a top 5 team but I knew App St was really fricking good and I would have said before the season that they were a top 4 or 5 toughest team on the schedule
quote:

01 Miami was better than both 95 Nebraska and 19 LSU
hands down the most overrated team ever in any sport. If their best player wasn't injured Boston College probably beats them.

They aren't even the best Miami team ever(87) nevermind 95 Nebraska or 19 LSU or 05 Texas or 13 FSU or 18 Clemson or 88 ND
quote:

The key word there being KSU.

Anyone like the Selmon bros., Tony Casillas, Brian Bosworth, Cortez Kennedy, Derrick Brooks, Ray Lewis, and Warren Sapp on those defenses?

That would be no.

Or anyone like Vince Wilfork, Jonathan Vilma, D.J. Williams, and Ed Reed like 2001 Nebraska faced?

Yes KSU number 1 ranked Defense had all Americans(3 to be exact) just like those guys were in college

quote:

None of those players were as good as the ones mentioned in my previous post.

Mason and Muhammad are literally top 40 all time in the NFL receiving yards.

Tony Banks played a decade in the NFL

Nick Saban is a 7x champion coach

By your logic that's a super amazing win for Nebraska lolllololol
LMAO same garbage arguments

KSU played Nebraska every year, recruited to stop Nebraska's run game, had the #1 defense in the nation with 3 All Americans. Guess what? Frazier had 4 passing tds Nebraska also scored on Special Teams and Defense and blew KSU out

By your logic I guess I should be touting Nebraska's 40 point win @ Michigan St since Michigan St had a NFL QB Tony Banks + 2 future pro bowl WRs Mushin Muhammad and Derrick Mason... coached by Nick Saban no less hahaha
