The end of meat? That's fricking stupid. If the meat supply ever gets too low, I will buy a few cows and go put them on the levee. I live right around the corner from a meat market that will cut it up and package it for me.. This article is stupid.

The food supply chain is one of the most complex things to discuss. Many long form independent think pieces out there on this shite. It’s a dirty business, literally and figuratively, and there’s a wake of collateral damage in the production of meat and seafood. Arguably, much more so than with vegetarian agriculture.
The industrialized processing of meat is hands down the most dangerous widespread occupation on the planet, and we are exploiting alien labor to produce it at despicably low wages while often hunting these workers as fraudulent criminals for doing work that our own will not. I don’t want to debate the why of any of this here, but it is certainly the reality of the what.
That said, I eat meat daily, and my portions are far larger than average, and my beef intake would make half the population cringe. But I understand the collateral consequences of my actions, I just choose not to care.

I made the mistake of a getting a vegan Beef burrito the other day. Label never mentioned vegan or vegetarian, only that it was “awesome grounds”. Tasted so terrible. Should I sue?

Yeah, I laugh when people push the "healthier" talking points when advising against meat.
I'm all for more humane methods of supplying meat, and I'm willing to pay more for that, but I definitely have a meat forward diet.
