I followed the Karen Read trial last year that started about this time last year.. I need to get caught up on this one so see how this one turns out.
This will be my new thing between college baseball and football season. Follow a trial.

I am white, I still like rap.. Not really the new rap, but mostly rap between The Beastie Boys License to Ill album and Lil Wayne's Carter 5 album. Those girls are not what I would call hot. A lot of dudes wouldn't kick them out of bed, but different strokes for different folks.

[quote]If they can make you wear a seatbelt, they can make you do or not do just about anything with the same logic[quote]
Are you assuming everyone wears a seatbelt strictly because its the law? I think a lot of people wear seatbelts because there are statistics that suggest wearing a seatbelt is more likely to save your life than not.
In 1980, there were 155.8 million vehicles on the road in the US with 51,091 fatal automobile crashes.
In 2024 there were 297.5 vehicles on the road in the US with 39,254 fatalities. From 1980 to 2024 the number of vehicles increased by almost 91% while vehicle crash fatalities decreased by about 24%.
If the numbers would have stayed on pace from the 1980 numbers in 2024 the fatalities would have been closer to 100K. Car have continued to be made more safe, etc... but you know the biggest contributor? Its sad that there needs to be laws for this because some people are too fricking stupid to know what's best for them.

I like to put together the tecnic sets.
Instead of "to get fired on your day off" replace it with "to lose $200k in a lego scam".

El nino has an 80% chance of forming and if so the US will get a lot of rain so if that happens that could put a pause on some crime.
Wow... So that's how you avoid becoming a victim of crime in bad areas? My plan was that if I go in a bad area I would stay as long as possible.

You think it was that simple? There were slaves in the south US and north US was like "you better get rid of those slaves or else" and the south was like "or else what" and the north was like "or else you better be ready to go to war".. The south called their bluff and then the war started
Im good. I don't need all that gay "its blah blah blah month" BS
Anyone watched Euphoria this season? Last episode was last night? You got all of Sydney Sweeney in this final season.

I will say this.. If I see any dude with a pit pull and a machete.. I might not trust him.

But it truly was an “at least she isn’t suffering and miserable anymore” type of situation. So I was at peace with it.
I don't understand why we let people live once they reach a certain stage in life.. Whether they are 30 or 130... If whatever they have isn't curable and they have reached a certain point that will only get worse. Do something to help them move on.. Die with some dignity.

That is one of the prettiest trucks.. If I were going to get a classic truck it would definitely be a 1980s Dodge Ram.

I feel sorry for these people when I see them. Nice, helpful, hardworking people stuck as being a wage slave. I'd rather them be the typical nasty people so I dont feel sorry for them.
This lady was older and gave off the "I am just doing this to have something to do" vibe.. Maybe not.. It might have just been that it wasn't busy at all at the time, but I get what you are saying.
Most of the time, when I see them, I don't really think about them, but if I am in my backyard at night, with the dogs, I will just stare at the sky and think "what is all of this?". Stars, the moon, our solar system... and beyond.. How big is whatever this is apart of.. I look at it like the human body. Is our universe the left arm of something? And where did this all come from or was it always just here?
The last time I went to Dollar General there was a really nice black lady working.. How come Walmart can't corner that market?
