I think you need to do some reading on the difference between discretionary and non-discretionary spending, then look at the numbers between the two.

Here's a hint: While there are certainly places to cut spending in the defense budget, it's not the problem.

Lived in El Paso for a year. As long as you stayed away from the Triangle, it's pretty safe.

I miss rolling up to my favorite Mexican restaurant on a Sunday morning with my own pot and getting it filled up with Menudo for next to nothing.

Shopping on the West Side where I lived was interesting on the weekends. Nothing but cars with Chihuahua plates, and not a word of English to be heard :lol:
