Because Obama tied these ridiculous loans directly to Obamacare. It’s part of Obamacare funding. Blame Obama and the easy loans so greedy colleges can keep their professors indoctrinating. It’s a vicious cycle.

Let’s talk truths. The biggest problem is careless drivers whether drunk or distracted or careless. Financial punishment should be put directly on the bad drivers. The biggest problem in Louisiana right now is UNINSURED drivers. Anyone who causes an accident that is uninsured should have their vehicle seized and given to the victim. I would reckon that 30% of drivers are uninsured in Louisiana. That’s ridiculous. Seize their vehicles !!

The expulsion of manufacturing in the 90’s into China has resulted in a 30 year recession. You haven’t noticed because we pumped 35 trillion dollars to prop it up. Six straight presidents that did nothing to stem this illusion. It’s going to hurt and the only way is to manufacture domestically. It’s going to be a rough 50 years unless Trump sells enough gold cards.

I prefer a state where you pay for great private schools with low property taxes. Your kids are in school with people who care and when they graduate still low property taxes. There is NO SUCH thing as a good government school. I know 6 kids that went to public school in Texas and 5 of the six are total freaks The catholic school kids of New Orleans are head and shoulders over government school kids.

The problem with students loans is that barrack Hussein Obama tied this money to Obamacare. Fact. No getting out from it. Somebody gotta pay. It was also directly linked to the IRS for enforcement. Trump changed that.

These loans are predatory in nature with a high interest rate. These should be simple loans at very low percent rate

My understanding is that it’s being strongly considered to moving UNO from the UL system back to the LSU system as it originally was.

Maybe those poor 4.9 GPA Tennessee valedictorians that can’t read will get into Harvard now.

So many people in their 30s, 40s, 50,s think Dixie and Jax are bad beers. It's just that they grew up on Bud Light, etc.... These beers are actually BEERS that taste like beer and are comparable to the modern local brewery types that taste different than Bud Light, Coors, Ultra and all those other watered down, no taste beers. Jax is a good beer, as was Dixie which was a great beer.

I read this week that New Orleans is the number one favorite city to visit in the USA. I could never leave. There’s no place as fun and interesting as New Orleans. It booms on weekends.
