I wonder if Chief Murphy Paul will consider her a journalist now?

Why hasn't a first amendment suit been filed yet for being kicked out of that meeting?

I mean, has any of the Chiefs "ideas" or statements had any value? The guy is a joke. I'm sure Kiran could care less what this loser thinks of her.

He just doesn't like his dumpster fire of a city and department being exposed and she's the one doing it.

Good for her. Well earned award, key word being earned. Her hard work is very noticeable and appreciated in a city where most of the other news stations are more interested in reporting on squirrels water skiing then what's actually going on in this city.

That's assuming he's got the mental horsepower to exercise his critical thinking skills. I doubt it.

As if Paul made the decision to remove her from the meeting
He was just following orders from Broome

Exactly. He has journalism confused with propaganda…like many do.

I love Kiran's reporting and even subscribe to her Substance, but I love a good squirrel water skiing too.

Now, a kitten water skiing would be better than both of those.

She’s really the ONLY journalist is the state at this point if you define journalism the way it is supposed to be defined.

The trash that comes out of WBRZ, WAFB, and the Advocate is pretty astounding. Not 1 time did any of the 3 shite rags question Edwards for his mask mandates and lockdowns, meanwhile him and Broome were spotted at multiple country clubs and cocktail parties unmasked and not "social distancing" as they demanded everyone else do.

Not once did any of these 3 shite rags question Dr. Catherine O'Neil and her blatant lies about Covid, and her fear mongering she used to try and persuade parents to give their kids the clot shot when children showed almost zero signs of being affected by it.

And it took a very long time for the 3 shite rags to report on Allie's murder, and not once has any of the asswipes, including Nakamoto, followed up with BRPD on why they haven't caught the killer, or how they could tell the public to "just take alternate routes" if they feel unsafe.

Not once has any of the 3 shite rags questioned Murphy Paul about the kid's body who was found in the driveway after a drug overdose, only after they were threatened with FBI involvement.

WBRZ, WAFB, and the advocate is no different than local media. They are in league with the corruption of BRPD and it's chief, and the mayor.

And read the front page story on The Advocate today - it largely bemoans increasing the police presence in areas with high gang traffic.

Go figure. At this point, it really wouldn't be a stretch to say The Advocate is complicit with high crime. Kiran is actually bringing attention to not only crime, but the underlying reasons.

Can we start a GFM to help her sue BRPD for discrimination?

I'd gladly chip in if it means I get to watch her grill this dumbass chief we got

There's absolutely no way they can refuse her presence due to her credibility at this point. I'm sure it won't stop them, though.

Let's not forget she was fired by one of our local media outlets under pressure from the Mayor's Office. They should all be called out on that too.
