Spring golf in Louisiana is really hard on the greens... especially greens that had 6 inches of snow a couple of years after a COMPLETE reno and subsequent drought.

The issue with Shadeur is the attitude.

He has talent to play QB in the NFL but he needs work. Most recognize this. Shadeur however has not shown the ability to recognize his own need for improvement.

Several scouts have pointed out that during interviews, he seemed to be more sure of his readiness to play than coaches and scouts think. Arrogance is a word that’s been used. Entitled is another.

So it seems clear to me that it’s not a matter of talent but willingness to learn. If he were more humble then perhaps he’s worth a shot in the top 20. Perhaps he can be molded.

The other strike on him is Deion. Any criticism for Shadeur gets dramatized by Deion. He’s active on Twitter and the media and isn’t afraid to go after reporters or others who he disagrees.

Bottom line- the juice ain’t worth the squeeze
