Companies will not survive unless people can afford to buy things. Universal income will have to come from companies that are taxed enough to pay for the AI they use instead of hiring people because the govt cannot pay out that without something like that existing. What then would the threshold be for enough money to be paid to each person to live and everything exist in the free market the way it does now? Seems impossible. Then what about healthcare and other facets of society like choice in treatments for illnesses vs. how insurance only covers certain things. Housing. Education. A lot of questions that don't seem possible with anything close to the current way we do things.

Woke has made parody almost impossible.
I think a great definition of woke is when virtue signalling compassion becomes a retarded reality, especially in this case. The Boston mayor seems full of that.
Gonna be a whole lot of Mexican straight dudes showing up with multi-colored flags gettin' vouchers for happy endings. What could go wrong?

Catfish Town was great! We didn't know how great it was at the time. Funnel Cakes were on point too!
I used to hate on Dale because he brought the team to the dance but could never get them over the line. When he had Shaq and CJ and Stanley, I really got pissed because it was obvious he wasn't a coach and more of a figurehead. Losing Tex didn't help either. But.....and it's become a big but, not just anyone could come in and get them to the dance as we have seen. Brady had a final four but Brady had some dog shite years. Other than that, Will has been the only consistent winner. Be careful what you wish for is a good lesson here when Dale finally left.
re: 15 time Trump voter but posting a picture of himself praying over someone is way too far

I love all the outrage from the far left. Like Trump posting something that mocks Jesus (who most don't believe in anyway) is too far morally for them. Killing babies, mutilating children and allowing massive illegal immigration for cheap labor is ok, but Trump shite posting is too far.

This is the crux of the issue. They cannot even gain control of their own countries much less Europe as a whole with the levels of infiltration each country is experiencing. They are cucking themselves without our help.

Imagine thinking a certain segment of our population has this little self control that they could ever be productive members of society or reasoned with

It’s always about love handles and oversized suits!
Over/Under on Hakeem Jeffries' use of our "democracy is at stake"
I had never heard anything about the east wing of the White House until this. I never knew there were so many progressive lovers of White House history preservation that were so concerned until now. Amazing how that works.

That sounds all nice and fine, but in reality the didn-doo's will mess it up for everyone just like they always do.
Hate to break it to you but in the AI doomsday scenario that the AI companies are hellbent on trying to sell is going to happen, we are all didn-doos reliant on UBI if they would even do such a thing. Everything will collapse on itself if any of the classes are out of work in significant numbers. Party over. Nothing anyone sells with have buyers and buyers have no money. Good luck to all of us if anything close to this actually happens (which it won't)
re: What’s it like being an airline pilot?
Posted by statman34 on 3/31/26 at 9:39 am to Mushroom1968
Of course I am no pilot, but having flown a ton in the last few years i would think it is mostly routine. The cockpit of the airbuses that JetBlue uses appear to be very automated complete with just a joystick controller and no yoke. The plane probably flies and lands itself mostly if everything is going as it should.

Meanwhile, supporters of McMahon are still trying to get us to see why it takes 12 years to build a winning basketball program with years of losing to get number 1 picks in the draft and lots and lots of good guy vibes!
