Average person has lost 30 pounds over last 3 years! Holy crap.

And we have politicians here outwardly embracing socialism in numbers never seen before in this country.

These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger. Who's the banana republic now?

Maybe they need to get Sean Penn, Bernie, and Danny Glover to send them some gift baskets

I am surprised a mass uprising hasn't happened yet. No matter how brutal a regime is, when people are starving they have no choice to revolt.

No. 1, Venezuala does not have a socialist government. Its more of a marxist dictator.

No. 2, the politicians you refer too are embracing social democracy, not socialism. Social democracy is more like what Sweden has.

I had a conversation with an old girlfriend who claims to be socialist now, and she had no clue what it really meant. She learned that she was actually a fan of capitalism and welfare.

Starving people with sticks vs a fed modern military with a dictator at the helm isn't much of a matchup

Unfortunately people who call themselves socialist don't understand the difference.

The one thing I may hate as much as the SJW liberals in this country are he bastards who run things in Latin America.

I swear we should focus our foreign policy efforts and energy on what is happening on our doorstep.

Let me translate that for you.

Take from the people who have spent their lives making something of themselves and give to the ones too lazy to do so. Tell the ones getting free shite they will keep getting it as long as they continue to vote for you.

You don't have to work to pursue happiness.

Just have the government force other people to give it to you because "fairness"
