This is why I consider voting for people like Beto, Gillum, Abrams, Ocasio and Bernie Sanders to be no different than playing around with a fully armed nuclear weapon.

Socialsim and Communism has never ever succeed anywhere and anytime in world history and frick anyone that tries to implement it here in the gorgeous United States of America.

I am surprised a mass uprising hasn't happened yet. No matter how brutal a regime is, when people are starving they have no choice to revolt.

That's not easy to do when the government has all the guns and the people only has sticks and maybe some knives.

Venezuela is a very good example of why the second amendment is so important and why gun freedom should be protected at all costs.

Governments are very responsive and respectful of an armed citizenry.

You're a greedy, selfish golem. It's gross. I don't make that much money, but I make enough to the point where I'm not angrily counting up every penny I have to give to the taxman, thinking about how poor people are keeping me getting that XL fricking Yeti this year.

Let's see some of those stats on who donates to charities more. Forcing people to pay additional taxes for the benefit of others isn't virtuous, but giving of your own free will is.

Here it is. The emotional outburst and indignation because someone dared to say they want to keep the fruits of their labor. Take your insults and mentions of his faith and shove it up your arse. A man is entitled to his property because it’s his property. As blunt as that statement may be, it is the fundamental reason why socialism has time and time again resulted in famine, oppression, and millions of lives lost.

Not Anymore

Don't kid yourself; Bernie, She Guevera, and many in the current Democratic Party, not to mention the Pope, want to put an end to capitalism.

No. 1, Venezuala does not have a socialist government. Its more of a marxist dictator.

No. 2, the politicians you refer too are embracing social democracy, not socialism. Social democracy is more like what Sweden has.

In the early and mid 2000, Venezuela was certainly cited by many in America as a success story worthy of a closer look and perhaps a learning experience for us here st home.

Venezuela sits on top of one of the world's largest oil reserves yet socialism has totally failed there, so I don't really understand what your statement was meant to imply.

He probably doesn't know what socialism means. I'm convinced that most that claim to support it don't either.

I'm just curious because these people give smug replies and never say a thing

Socialism is an economic system. It has been tried repeatedly and failed

The Soviet Union had a socialist economy.

You're agreeing with a textbook error and seem proud of it

Socialism is an economic system, not the government.

I swear most of you never attended one college Econ class
