that should mean he gets full pay and benefits, plus a little extra for hardship, going back to the time it happened, so he should have a pretty nice check coming

I just watched about 3 minutes of that guy grabbing frogs with a net. Apparently there's a "frog season." Not sure if that's a LDWF thing or just the circle of life

He is making millions. Dude has his spice brand in every Walmart in the country on top of other merchandise and endorsements. IIRC with enough views you top out at $40K per month on Tiktok. No doubt he hits that and that is just for video views. He can still post sponsored videos for brands that pull in separate money in the 5-6 figures for one video.
He is rich but I bet he wanted his job back to get his pension and benefits.

Yep. Getting reinstated means that he gets retroactive credit for those years and the state has to pay for the retirement contributions that would have been made by him had he not been fired.
I don’t know what the service year requirement is for cops but getting about 18 months of service you don’t have to pay for is a big fricking deal.
