It's a sad story, looking at that video. But unless there's other angles, she accelerated towards the cop that shot her. Panicked or not, that gives him justification for shooting. Awful situation, but why was she even there?

For me personally, beet supplements have been game changers. I suffer from asthma and they make a huge difference in my runs. I can't remember the name of the liquid one I bought at one of the expos, but it was the best I've ever tried. I threw the bottle away and didn't take a pic, but I PR'd a half marathon that day by 17 minutes! I give some credit to that beet juice, I actually felt it when I was breathing. I kick myself for not remembering the name of it. Maybe I'll see it again soon.

Speaking of that, who's in for the Louisiana Marathon in two weeks?

I used to love runDisney events, and have done many of them, but the last several years it's been taken over. It's just waves and waves of walkers, 8 wide, no run decorum, no cares, etc.

I support every person that gets active, but it's gotten crazy with the number of walkers in these events now, all dressed up in extravagant costumes. :lol:

There's a guy in BR and NO that absolutely smokes the age group awards. He's a pudgy kinda guy, not fat, but definitely not a guy you'd think would win. I've seen him a few times, then couldn't help myself. I straight up asked him how the hell he's kicking arse like he does.

Dude has two, or three kids, I can't remember. Anyway, his training primarily focuses on running and pushing his kids around in the stroller.

Then on running event days, it's like being freed from a massive weight. :lol:

I asked him what he's going to do when his kids get too big to push around and he said he's going to load the stroller with 45lb weights.

I mean, it's basically like doing sled training.

As others have said, no, you don't get to be 600lbs by dieting your whole life. You get that fat from gorging on pizza, fried chicken and gravy. I'm all for these drugs helping guys like this, but don't sit in a commercial and lie to people. Your arse hasn't dieted like you should be doing and got to tat weight.
