re: Run Stroller
Posted by Oates Mustache on 1/1/26 at 11:20 pm to Aubie Spr96
There's a guy in BR and NO that absolutely smokes the age group awards. He's a pudgy kinda guy, not fat, but definitely not a guy you'd think would win. I've seen him a few times, then couldn't help myself. I straight up asked him how the hell he's kicking arse like he does.
Dude has two, or three kids, I can't remember. Anyway, his training primarily focuses on running and pushing his kids around in the stroller.
Then on running event days, it's like being freed from a massive weight.
I asked him what he's going to do when his kids get too big to push around and he said he's going to load the stroller with 45lb weights.
I mean, it's basically like doing sled training.

It really is. I've learned to just laugh at this when it happens. It's seriously the way LSU does business.

People will be mad that he is black
At what point does the obvious blackwashing of characters start to bother people? Couldn't someone with even a hint of creativity and imagination, create a great black superhero character that would also be a great movie?
Black people, of all people, should be pissed that Hollywood takes white characters and turns them black. It's a legit slap in the face and insulting.
I'm not mad, just tired. And this character looks awful, an even bigger slap in the face, turning a shite character into a black guy.

I found it online. Wtf.
As others have said, no, you don't get to be 600lbs by dieting your whole life. You get that fat from gorging on pizza, fried chicken and gravy. I'm all for these drugs helping guys like this, but don't sit in a commercial and lie to people. Your arse hasn't dieted like you should be doing and got to tat weight.

The only way it works is if every person does it. Otherwise, you just end up in trouble individually.

I'm glad this was posted. I was actually thinking about this today.
Why the hell do we still pay? Billions upon billions stolen from us, watching 35% of your check going to this fraud.
When is it enough?

I did this, and Verizon limits you to 10 area codes. I'm still getting at least 20 calls a day. I wish we had the death penalty for these people.

Ahhh ok, that makes a little more sense explained like that. But yeah, it absolutely failed in the show.

The whole argument as to why Will needed to come out of the closet is because Vecna uses fear to control people.
I don't get how him being in the closet translated into Vecna holding this over his head and controlling him.
Vecna manipulates the kids because they're easily lied to, but that's not the case with Will.
So how is his hidden gayness being weaponized to control him?

Again, unless Will felates Vecna to death, I'm not sure what the point of having a 10 minute all hands on deck meeting about him not liking girls is supposed to accomplish.
I've asked this question way too many times.
Vecna uses fear to control, right?
How is he going to control Will with being in the closet? How does that information translate into removing Will's powers?
None of this makes sense

Didn't she take a used condom from sex with his girlfriend, put it inside of herself, then claim rape?

t was the worst episode of the series
But my dumb arse will keep watching
I'm finishing the season, but that's it for me. And the people wishing we'd stop criticizing the show, I'm sorry but that ain't happening.
Sheridan makes some great shows, but often times, he just loses interest, focus, something. And that's where we are in this one.
I loved the first season, a mix of soap opera, a mix of gritty, oil and gas stuff, albeit unrealistic.
These last three episodes were like 10% oil and gas, 88% relationships, and 2% spinny horses.

They casted this shite out 10 miles. That's the worst writing I've seen in a Sheridan flick. If they don't kill him, that entire dialog was pointless.

Yeah, I'm done too. Too much relationship stuff with boss girls, not enough oil and gas shite.
F you for luring me in, Sheridan, you spinny horse riding mfer.
