Out of curiosity, what crime would/should have been charged with?
Accessory to the felony of fleeing the scene of an accident with serious injury.

Yeah the board has really weird moral compasses
a drugged out mom leaves her kid at home to go out drinking... bury her
a sworn law enforcement officer engages in the covering up of a crime .....but he's a good dude because he has a funny YouTube channel
I think both deserve a second chance with monitoring
but the way some of the people are excusing his actions in confusing
now granted I understand it as you
he helped someone flee the scene of an accident/cover up a crime, he may have not to have known whether there was an injury or not
I understand that but if he KNEW that , he knew there was an incident or was COMPLETELY unaware of any and all of it,, And Ive not seen that claimed or substantiated
that would make a difference, but how drunk was he??
BUT not murder
I don't think he should do jail time. Most would just get a fine.
but it calls into question his competency as a sworn law enforcement officer I mean you take an oath . breaking it cause you're drunk or are a minor celeb doesn't excuse it
but , I wish him well

I remember broken bones and some kind of moderate concussion. Hazy on the details, but it was not a "fender bender."

I wasn't there smartass, but injuries were reported.
Does it matter if someone sprained their thumb or lost a limb?

I went back and read the original threads. Stalekracker himself was the only one with obvious injuries after the incident, and he had multiple broken bones. Under those circumstances, I can't really fault the man for not conducting a DUI investigation or "rendering aid." There were other adults present, and Stalekracker was probably most concerned with getting medical attention for himself.

Yes, I think it matters a lot.

“Conduct unbecoming” is subjective and a catch all to frick someone over if admin wants to.

Those that are hating on him because he is a state trooper or because of him making money from something he loves, are just jealous
Yeah, that's it. I am jealous of a state trooper. Like I said, there are the ones who are truly good guys, but if you have everyone some type of power or authority, its going to change more than half of those people. And the ones who are already assholes, giving them some type of power just magnifies who they are.
I think that sucks for the good ones.

Its a message board. You might feel like people should keep negative comments to themselves, but who the frick are you to tell people on the board what to say or not say?

Guy is laughing all the way to the bank
I looked at his numbers. On Youtube he is getting 30k-50k views an episode.
On average, if you have ads on your videos, 1.1 million views will generate about $3,400.
In order to get to a point to start generating money, you have to start off posting a lot of videos.. Maybe 3 or 4 a day. Doing that will get more people to discover your channel which then will increase the number of subscribers you have and over time you will be able to expect at least a certain number of view each video.
You also have to incorporate it with things people search so you can add hashtags that will get people to your videos.
Then you will get to a point where you can start selling merch and then get companies to advertise. A good example is the Hold the Mayo guy. He gets about 3 or 4 thousand views on youtube for every video he post. Whatever he gets from youtube is likely not much, but he sells merch and has several sponsors.
If he was making bank, he would want his old job back.

YouTube isn’t his main platform. TikTok is. He also has several products being sold at Walmart.
And he doesn’t want his job back. If you actually read the article he wanted to get reinstated so he can retire. Most likely for dem good benefits

It does actually, especially if you’re claiming “serious bodily injury” and felonies.
Yet the actual driver of the boat was only charged with misdemeanors so I don’t believe anyone was seriously hurt…so everything you and the other poster have been saying doesn’t even align with what the driver was charged with.
People watch too many cop shows and think laws on those shows are the law of the land.
I’ve also heard that him and the boat operator actually stopped and talked to them initially, but the only side of the story we have is the lady who went to the news. Which is a problem.

So somebody involved broke several bones, and "nobody was hurt"?
Whatever.
