Congrats! You’re built like a 12 year old boy..

If I dropped 55 lbs and sat around 10% body fat, I’d have to drop 40lbs of muscle.

12mg holy shite. Maybe not as potent or they’ve figured out the side effects but I’m diabetic, if I don’t take meds I’ll wake up with blood sugar at 400 without eating or drinking a thing.

I went from .75 to 1.5mg of a GLP1 and I can hardly stand the combo of reflux and feeling like general dog shite.

These massive doses people take to lose weight have got to be brutal.

OT: we hate fatties they ruin everything

Fat pill released

OT: we hate people who used to be fat that take this pill and we heard from a friend of a friend all the fake skinny people are going to go blind and their stomachs are going to fall off

Why can't we just go back to the good ol days of smoking and bulimia to lose weight?

The biggest takeaway from Reta is that it preserves muscle mass by opening the glucagon pathways for energy. It's not catabolic.

I'm serious when I say the government should consider subsidizing this and pumping it out at low or no cost to obese people. The savings would be massive (pun intended) in the short term and especially the long term.

You're not wrong, JB, but at a certain point, obese people seem to give up.

These drugs cant be any worse for them than all the associated health issues that come from being that overweight.

I'm pretty close to being there as well. GLPs are not new experimental drugs. They have been around for a while and the all encompassing benefits from them are pretty remarkable

GLP-1s have been out for decades... they know long term effects.

Aren't GLPs eroding people's bone mass? Some of these people look like skeletons to me.

That’s what happens when you abuse the drug and don’t eat.

This. Imagine bragging about losing 100 pounds and still being 100 pounds overweight

Someone in that scenario is still an unhealthy fat frick who is a drain on healthcare system.

And will respond by taking seat width down to 7” and adding three new rows. Instead of window or aisle, we will be selecting “big spoon” or “little spoon”

. I didn’t respond to what I was getting at a boutique clinic. But I switched compounder and all of a sudden It started to work. I was never huge, but wanted to lose some vanity pounds. The “Meh” is real.

But also, it has totally eliminated my desire to drink. So much so that I will still make myself a drink, carry it around all night and then pour it out before bed. It’s weird.

I've been down this rabbit hole for a while, this is not common and only the case with higher doses or people taking too much too fast. The same things that effects food noise, also effects your loss of interest in drinking, smoking, etc anything that give you a dopamine hit.

To give you an idea, I did .5mg for 4 weeks and now have been on 1mg for a while and don't see any reason to go up from there. Just like everything else if you don't correct your lifestyle with diet and exercise, this won't work if you ever stop using it. A lot of people struggle coming off of it because they go from higher doses to 0, you really need to come off of it properly.
