It's a terrible way to gauge true heart health.

BMI is good for population based evaluation. Can be bad in specific circumstances regarding individuals.

This is a stupid comment. People can be in incredible shape and have a BMI above 30.

This is only said by overweight people who lie to themselves.

I would need to pack on 55lbs to have a bmi of 30.

I guess what I'm trying to convey is that there are a number of people who workout hard, watch what they eat, and just lead an overall good lifestyle with a high BMI number but have a low body fat percentage.

Sure, a very low number. Which is why BMI is fine, why is this so difficult to understand?

I have been taking a low dose of 2 mg a week and making sure I eat 2k calories a day and have lost 20 pounds. Anybody taking 12 mg must feel like complete crap and can't even look at food. That is a crazy amount.

I’m taking 1mg per week, 12 mg is wild. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone taking over 4 or 5

We’d be better off as a species if we let the fatties eat themselves out of the gene pool.

In 1989 I opened my college acceptance letter to my first choice school in a booth at Lusco's in Greenwood.

Last week I took my 3 children at Ole Miss to a dinner at Lusco's in Oxford.

Times change.

Of course there are going to be side effects, miracle drugs with no side effects don’t exist. It’s just the realities of medicine

I asked Chat GPT to provide me DK’s bmi and it says 27.9. So even as big as he is he isn’t close to the obese number of 30.

It’s widely available on the grey market. Most peptide companies sell them under the guise of research and explicitly warn against human consumption or uses outside of research purposes.

Just bumped mine up to 2.5 and sort of struggling with it, tbh. Down 25 lbs in 8 weeks. 16-1800 calories a day.

Walking/running when I’m not working nights.

Aren't GLPs eroding people's bone mass? Some of these people look like skeletons to me.

There are trial lawyers working with scientists figuring all this out as we speak. Get ready for another Vioxx situation.
