Must be a miracle that my aunts can still post from their graves...

I agree with you 100%
Guess it's about time for me to pack up and make the drive back to Houston from campus. Glad we won!!

Yes, there are folks on the Book of Feces that are even more caught up with the dumbass disease than here!!
At least we get to see who they are and they are getting hammered by real & knowledgeable LSU football fans.
I'm happy that I haven't seen posts like that here... while a lot of us on this board get all emotional, there are still many more knowledgeable posters here than on the Book of Feces.

But it wasn’t 30. Did you watch the game?
I was at the game.. semantics here
30 points is what we had... 23 is the scoreboard...
Thinking the way some of you think, go ahead and take the TD and then we would probably have lost in overtime ...

I like this team much better than a few years ago. I haven't seen nor heard of players pulling up their jersey to show a political statement like "defund the police" after we score a goal. They looked like they just want to play the game and win.
Those who say we only scored 23 must not have watched the game..

Or they don't know anything about football....
Berry would have easily scored, but he stopped short of the goal line with 1:35ish left and Arky having 1 time out left. Because of this selfless act, we were able to take the victory formation and run out the clock. Much better than giving the ball back to them with that much time left down by 8.
Hunt Palmer ran his mouth on the post-game show complaining too.
I know it's still just 30 against a horrible team, but at least get it right...

Some folks like to use the airport abbreviation for city... I'll allow it! Lol
re: Why does Brad Davis still have a job?

Maybe the grad assistants could do a better job... we always had a couple of young grad assistants who busted their tails and were already good coaches.
Plus we have about 8,000 members on the staff ... surely one of them could do better. Heck a dead tree could do a better job than Brad Davis

That shiteshow of an offensive line is squarely on him. What does he know that enables him to still keep costing us games?

I really don't want to go to anymore games this season, especially since I drive from Houston area. My 80 year old neighbors have season tickets too and still want to go and if I don't drive, they can't go. Plus, I'm with a group going to Oklahoma to complete our tour of SEC stadiums, but they all still want to go & since I made the arrangements for everyone, I guess I will go.

Back to the old image that people remind me wherever I go is that LSU is being run by a bunch of dumb coonasses from down the Bayou & swamp

The volleyball team is still a joke. Plus what has swimming & tennis done lately? At least I haven't heard anyone on this board complaining lately about the soccer team's taking knees & wearing defund police shirts...
Don't forget that he allows the wrestling belt man to run around LSU facilities like he owns them.

Aggie doesn't know what to do with a beautiful woman like Hope because he spends most days chasing farm animals and pole cats!

Flew in on Thursday.... got in 30 minutes early. At baggage claim #10, it took 30 minutes to get the first 10 baggage, then 10 minutes later 10 more, and so on... lots of pissed off folks letting United have it. They were having a barbecue and taco party for their workers on the tarmac by gate C1... probably reason why my bags were so late.

From 30 years experience as a head coach (albeit with only 4 assistants) and as a football assistant in 6A school, both I and all of the head football coaches I assisted, were always very much in the loop with the game plan and all other aspects of our programs.
While not dealing with recruiting like college coaches, we also didnt have the extra staff to deal with classroom/grade issues, eligibility paperwork, travel details, etc...
I also met with my assistants daily before and after practice to discuss practice plans and upcoming game strategies, and address any issues that may come up. The thing that scared me the most was to not be prepared or have an assistant do something that I didnt know or approve of that I knew that I would have to answer for to the administration.
For example, I was asked to drive our varsity volleyball team to the Regional tournament so the coaches could relax on the drive and focus on the match. I get to the bus barn and I find out there was no bus request made. Instead of calling the head coach or AD, since I drove a morning route, the director was more than willing to accommodate me getting the first bus available instead of going by policy and denying a bus. It wasn't a brand new bus, but a good running bus to go 60 miles and nobody knew the difference. Another time, the head BB coach forgot to add referees because we were using 2 gyms... That's why I always followed up on stuff like that and made my assistants follow up with me on stuff that I assigned to myself...
While being a public school, I also knew who my junior high future players were and was involved in the local little league in helping my future teams and I did my best to remember who all those players were when they got to high school.
