It’s High school softball. Does it really matter?
As the director of the Texas Prep Softball Coaches Association, I say it definitely does matter.

I go out and watch games all season from the top teams to the inner city and small rural teams. I've seen 1-0 games and 28-22 games and the that I will tell you, is that the girls on all of the teams are trying their best. I talked to the players and coaches of one inner city Houston school this year and softball is what keeps these girls involved in the school and is a big motivation for them to go to school and try to do their best. Also for some, it's gets them off of the streets and into a supportive environment they may not have at home.

In the small rural schools, the girls tell they represent their town and most play multiple sports. I remember coaching in Plaquemines Parish and coached football, girls basketball, and softball and almost of my softball players played basketball too.

So your comment isn't true and makes me guess that you don't know what schools sports, win or lose, does to help these kids grow and learn about life.
I go on vacation and get about 20 minutes every couple of days to check what is going and I see this Incoherent Babble From Some Stupid Person who thinks they are a fan...

I agree with all of you that we are starting to find a groove and are playing better.
I dont know much about Bethune-Cookman, but when I was head softball coach and then assistant principal at A&M Consolidated HS, Texas A&M would have the coaches of teams in their softball regional set up times to work out at my field. Back then the NCAA only allowed participating teams 1 hour on the game field.

I hosted a lot of great schools on my field and was laughing when Arizona practiced on my field and Mike Candrea told me I looked funny in a coat and tie as a principal. I also hosted LSU twice and our fight song was playing when the team showed up, plus I got to watch us practice from my dugout.

Bethune-Cookman used my field and locker rooms 2 days in a row and when they got off the first day, their players were asking me if this was really our HS field. They said it was so much nicer than their field, so my booster club had barbecue brisket for them the next day so they would enjoy Texas.

That makes me wonder what their baseball facilities are like, and if they arent good, then I respect the work those coaches are doing to be successful
I can vouch for your statement. Ironic that she now attends LSU vet school going to school and getting ready for USA Softball national team action and hopefully Olympics. I wasn't feeling well on Easter Sunday, so I didnt get to see the family as I normally do during each holiday.
When i think I've seen the stupidest post, posts like this appear and I realize that TD hasn't yet reached the level of stupidity we are capable of...
What happened today? I didnt get to watch

Have to settle for leftovers

This is an unusual comment from you.
Good momentum builder going into the home stretch of the SEC, especially if we can sweep them today.

You could be like me and be both a LSU alum and Astros fan...

I'm double embarrassed
Another LSU alum who backstabs our university every chance he gets. F him.
My motorhome is LSU BUS (texas plates)... my nickname at LSU was busdriver because I would yell that at the visiting coach at men's basketball games.

My SUV is BRSABI... my two dogs are Bruno and Wasabi... did it for fun

Both are Texas LSU style plates too.
Joe Expedia is frickijg worthless... I wish I could kick his arse out of Houston right now.
Correa will probably kick Pena's arse between innings because Coach Expedia won't do shite.
As of 10:00 am on Monday, it still says that Cade is the owner!! Awesome!
DFA Abreu...we can get someone off of the street that will have less than a 27.00 ERA.

USL coaches were on a roll...

First, the beisbol coach loses his mind at James Madison and tries to fight the entire home team dugout when his player tried to run through a tackle like a running back.

Just a few minutes later in Lafghanistan, the cow from Troy State does the same to the cow 1B of USL as she was catching a fly ball. The USL softball sponsor threw a hissy fit and was ejected as the umpires only called an out instead of ejecting the runner.

Honestly the softball sponsor was correct as the fielder has the right to go wherever to catch the pop fly. It's the runner's responsibility to avoid contact which she initiated. The baseball coach was wrong because his runner initiated the flagrant contact... but it was funny to see the crying cajun sponsors yesterday
Im assuming since she already started her routine, we won't be able to substitute???
That hasn't stopped LSU fans in the past... guess it's the new normal.
So why are there so many empty seats? Even Thursday looked like it was half full at best.
