First hurricane I remember as a kid. We evacuated to North Louisiana and came home to all the fences down and the back porch blown down. Got off easy compared to others. School was closed for at least a week.

Government regulations have destroyed the American V8! The same regulations have also made vehicles way too expensive.

I set a crazy goal some time ago of $5M by 50. Not sure where I came up with that but probably from reading an insane thread like this on here 15 years ago! Don't know if it's attainable or not but early 40's sitting with around $1.1 in both retirement and brokerage. So, around $2.2M total at the moment. We'll see what the future holds. The MT board is responsible for showing me the possibilities! :cheers:

I sure hope this is true. They've already messed up quite a lot down there in Big Bend. Building a wall where natural walls exists is quite dumb. Many ways to patrol this boarder without destroying the landscape.
