I’d turn it into a Texas Live thing. Bunch of bars, restaurants, shops, huge concert area and huge screens all over.

Isn’t that one of the ideas and just waiting on funding? Would also have a hotel. A giant mixed use community.

it is.

at this point it just seems like they need to pick a direction, get funding, and do something instead of new studies and releasing “new concepts” every 5 years.

Rent to a super church during the year and make it available to people from New Orleans if a bad hurricane hits.

Indoor nudist colony. No sunburn, not too hot for women, and not too cold for men.

Thinking naked top golf, pickle ball, fencing, standing room concerts, and au naturel dining.

If it's like most nudist colonies, you won't be.

Destroy it and bring back a much larger Astroworld/Waterworld.

The Astrodome is historic for being the first domed stadium, but the actual sports history that took place there is underwhelming. No Super Bowls, no major bowl games or national championships, one Final Four, no World Series, and the Oilers/Titans and Astros aren’t among the most prestigious franchises.

I don’t necessarily want to see it torn down, but I wouldn’t shed any tears over it. It’s not like seeing the original Yankee Stadium or Orange Bowl demolished.

That's an awesome idea

Also have an art museum of sorts to dedicate some history of the building
